Nowadays, memes are used as funny yet effective approach to send the messages for people. The growth of internet and digital media in recent years make memes easier to spread around the world. There are many studies about the perception to memes among different ages. However, it is still unclear the visual attention of people to memes. To solve the problem, human eye tracker could be used as objective and bias free technology. In this study, millennials and non-millennials participants were shown many memes image in random order. Participant's eye movements were recorded using human eye tracker to measure visual attention. Following eye tracking, participants completed a modified questionnaire to measure the perceptions of memes.
Covid 19 memberikan banyak perubahan dalam segala hal, seperti kegiatan rutinitas kehidupan sehari hari sampai kepada perubahan dalam hal Pendidikan khususnya dalam proses pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran yang biasanya dilakukan secara tatap muka, saat ini belum bisa dilakukan sebagaimana semestinya, seluruh proses pembelajaran harus dilakukan secara daring untuk mengurangi penyebaran kasus Covid 19 yang semakin tinggi yang ada di Indonesia khususnya di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar efektivitas pembelajaran secara daring yang dilakukan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. HAMKA khususnya pada Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan model kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei, yang menggunakan media google foom dalam menjaring data yang dibutuhkan. Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 110 mahasiswa, dengan hasil yang tergambar 72% siswa merasa efektif proses pembelajaran yang dilakuka karena dosen teta berusaha membangun proses pembelajaran sesuai dengan rancangan yang telah dibuat meski bertemu dengan tatap maya hal, karena dalam proses pembelajaran daring mahasiswa bisa lebih kreatif dari sisi tekhnologi dan memiliki produktivitas pembelajaran yang berbeda dan memiliki nilai lebih dalam bidang teknologi dan konten pembelajaran. Sedangkan ada 28% mahasiswa yang menggambarkan bahwa proses pembelajaran tidak efektif karena dalam proses penyampaian lebih menarik dan dapat mudah dimengerti saat tatap muka. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahawa pembelajaran secara daring pada masa saat ini masih efektif selama masih terbangun proses pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran.
These days, the dynamics of social interaction in Indonesia is affected by various issues that are threatening the diversity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). This study aims to describe the multicultural approach in learning in elementary school as an effort to strengthen the student's values of multiculturalism from an early age. The descriptive qualitative method is used to analyze various problems related to the implementation of multicultural approach in learning. The research was conducted in five public elementary schools in PasarRebo Sub-district, East Jakarta. The results of the research explains that the multicultural approach should be a soft skill for the teachers and all components of the primary school management as an effort in fostering tolerance, living in peace, mutual protection, mutual freedom from threats, and to achieve the peaceful and harmonious Indonesia.
This study discusses the importance of historical awareness for the generations of a nation. The history of the national movement is a collective event of a nation, which can improve nation's awareness of an independent nationality. This study aims to analyze moral values in history as Social Capital which factored to the emergence of equality of fate and solidarity. This study uses a critical historical research method with a literature study as its primary reference. The result of this study confirms that historical awareness is Social Capital for the integrity and sustainability of the Republic of Indonesia. Globalization with all of its attributes allegedly can erode moral values and awareness of Indonesia's national history. The notion of historical awareness as Social Capital is another form of modality in development related to norms, social networks, trust to benefit, encourage participation, and social accessibility in national and state life.

This article examines the founder of the Muhammadiyah, K. H. Ahmad Dahlan (1869–1923) and the reformation of Islamic education he had proclaimed as an attempt to abolish all feudalism force in society towards a realistic and democratic modern society. The clerical reformist, K. H. Ahmad Dahlan played an essential role and was the key for the improvement and the reawakening of Muslim society so as to abandon the rooted feudal cultural practice. This article first discuss the childhood of K. H. Ahmad Dahlan and his education. The article then discusses the socio-cultural context of feudalist Muslim society within his neighborhood. Then, the article also discusses the Islamic education reformation proclaimed by K. H. Ahmad Dahlan referring to his notion on Islamic education reformation, his view on the relation between religion and mind, as well as his political view.
