[English]: This quantitative study with n = 206 participants (mathematics pre-service teachers from Indonesia) investigates the effect of two factors on pre-service teachers’ beliefs: (1) contexts related to students’ achievement as well as (2) the differences between school mathematics and university mathematics. The results of this quantitative study show that the participants (1) have different beliefs about teaching and learning of mathematics in different contexts of students’ achievement (a class dominated by high-achieving students vs. a class dominated by low-achieving students) and (2) have different beliefs about school mathematics and university mathematics. Interestingly, compared to their beliefs about school mathematics, the pre-service teachers’ beliefs about university mathematics correlate better with their beliefs about teaching and learning in different contexts of students’ achievement. The implication of the better correlations for the pre-service teacher education are further discussed. [Bahasa]: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan 206 calon guru matematika ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi efek dari dua faktor yang mempengaruhi keyakinan para calon guru: (1) konteks yang berhubungan dengan capaian siswa dan (2) perbedaan karakteristik antara matematika sekolah dan matematika universitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para calon guru tersebut (1) memiliki keyakinan yang berbeda tentang bagaimana mengajar dan belajar matematika di dalam konteks yang berbeda, yaitu antara kelas yang didominasi oleh siswa-siswa capaian tinggi dan kelas yang didominasi oleh siswa-siswa capaian rendah, dan (2) memiliki keyakinan yang berbeda antara matematika sekolah dan matematika universitas. Menariknya, jika dibandingkan dengan keyakinan tentang matematika sekolah, keyakinan para calon guru tentang matematika universitas ternyata lebih baik korelasinya terhadap keyakinan mereka tentang bagaimana mengajar dan belajar di dua konteks kelas tersebut. Selanjutnya, artikel ini akan mendiskusikan implikasi dari korelasi yang lebih baik tersebut terhadap pendidikan para calon guru matematika.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengklasifikasikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa berdasarkan Taksonomi Structure of Observed Learning Outcomes (SOLO) pada materi barisan dan deret di MA Negeri 1 Samarinda tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA di MA Negeri 1 Samarinda yang berjumlah 66 orang. Objek penelitian adalah kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi barisan dan deret berdasarkan Taksonomi SOLO. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal tes pemecahan masalah dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, dari 66 subjek diperoleh 5 siswa dengan kategori kemampuan prastruktural, 15 siswa dengan kategori kemampuan unistruktural, 29 siswa dengan kategori kemampuan multi-struktural, 14 siswa dengan kategori kemampuan relasional, dan 3 siswa dengan kategori kemampuan kategori abstrak yang diperluas. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa, berdasarkan klasifikasi Taksonomi SOLO, kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas XI IPA di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Samarinda sebagian besar berada pada kategori kemampuan multistruktural yang berarti memenuhi indikator taksonomi SOLO pada tingkatan unistruktural dan tingkatan multistruktural.
One of the trending business opportunities and much in demand by the public is in the culinary business. Many people are competing to open a restaurant because food is a basic need that must be met by humans, so opening a restaurant will certainly provide many benefits for restaurant owners. In a restaurant business process, of course, it involves many roles such as the role of a waiter, the role of a chef, the internal role of the raw material stock section, and so on are interrelated and must be synchronized. However, in practice, restaurants still use conventional methods that are inefficient, effective, and structured. Some restaurants in the city of Medan only use conventional records both in ordering and recording raw material stocks so that errors often occur due to the inaccurate calculation process. In addition, the business processes in a restaurant are still not well structured between each working part so that ordering errors often occur. Therefore, research will be conducted to build a restaurant information system using the Supply Chain Management method. The results showed that the application of the Supply Chain Management method to the restaurant information system that was built was proven to be able to integrate all parts of the restaurant business properly so as to prevent errors from occurring by every party working in the restaurant.
This is a quasi-experimental research. The research design was Posttest only control group design. The sampling technique in this study was purposive cluster sampling after 3 classes were chosen based on daily examination score on word processing application utilization subject, namely XI-3 Pharmacy class with Prezi media, XI-4 Pharmacy with Adobe Premiere media, and XI-1 Nursing class Microsoft Power Point media. In this lesson was given the subject of spreadsheet application. Data collection was the test of learning result of Digital Simulation in essay form. The data analysis in this study used one way anova test by using SPSS 17 program, which previously analyzed its normality with Kolmogorov-Smirnov One-Sample test with α = 0,05 for the three classes were learning by using Prezi media, learning by using Adobe Premiere, and using Microsoft PowerPoint successively obtained value p> α is 0.192; 0.184; 0.200> 0.05 so that the three groups were normally distributed. Homogeneity test by using Levene's test obtained p> α value is 0.095> 0,05 means the three groups come from population with homogeneous variance. The result of data analysis using One Way Anova test with α = 0,05 obtained statistical value Fhitung = 5,268 with p = 0,007 then p < α, so there was difference of learning result of Digital Simulation using Prezi media, Adobe Premiere media and Microsoft PowerPoint media. Further analysis used Tukey's HSD test seen that the learning media that have significant difference in learning using Adobe Premiere media and Microsoft Power Point media. From the results of the study can be concluded "There are differences in learning results on Digital Simulation in utilization of the spreadsheet application between the use of media of Prezi, Adobe Premiere, and Microsoft office PowerPoint on students class XI SMKN 17 Samarinda". Better learning outcomes are in Class XI-4 Pharmacy by using Adobe Premiere.
