Although electricity in Thailand is still sufficient to provide services, but there may be a risk in future from relying solely only on oil energy. Therefore, alternative energy is a good way to distribute fuel. The growth rate of community brings higher levels of imported energy from foreign countries including expansion of large projects resulting in opening of exploration and production rights for petroleum to increase energy security and reduce domestic risks. This research aims study of economic production cost analysis for community biodiesel production from remained kitchen oil case of community management. The collecting information is on price and use of raw materials for biodiesel production to calculate. According to studies, it has been found that total variable cost of biodiesel production process for 1 st time is equal to 33.42 baht/L comparing to 2 nd time on total variable cost only 23.62 baht/L. Most of variable cost for 2 nd time is used kitchen oil representing 51% of total cost price. This research analyzed production potential for the use of biodiesel B100 reflecting on reduction of diesel used in community's agricultural machine. It was found that community has potential to produce biodiesel for their own use causing savings within community around 134,220 baht per year if community produce 1,500 L. If the government encourages community members to understand and produce biodiesel for themselves, it will be able to reduce oil imports many million baht and overall positive impact on economic, social and environmental sectors of Thailand.
IntroductionBuoyed by recent calls to research and advance the knowledge economy and sustainable development. This study explains how the role of the knowledge economy in influencing the COVID-19 pandemic has emerged with numerous opportunities for the global E-learning or online education industry. And, knowledge sharing behavior has been hugely driven by various sharing platforms concerning a new paradigm for diversifying education and learning. However, our study is to further extend the understanding and examine the related empirically correlations to deepen online education for sustainable development (OESD). Both advancing theoretical underpinnings and enhancing the online education industry are highly integrated and introduced toward a sustainable pathway. This study brings the perspectives from consumer value, social identity social exchange, and value-attitude-behavior to explain sustainable consumption behavior in the Chinese online education industry (SCBOEI). Thus, the relationship among factors in this study is statistically examined and the SCBOEI model as the new theoretical insight is introduced in a way of sustainable consumption behaviors in the Chinese online education industry. Finally, this study addresses managerial implications to practitioners, the government, universities, and markets.Materials and methodsEmploying a quantitative approach, about 559 valid questionnaire surveys are collected from Chinese higher education institutions. This study includes participants from four controlling variables (age, education level, family income, and gender) and six latent variables. The bootstrapping method was applied to validate mediating factors and their interacting relationships.ResultsThe finding reveals that a set of classic psychological theories related fits the SCBOEI in higher education from the consumer value, contextual factors, social identity, sustainable consumption attitudes, and consumer engagement to explain SCBOEI. The mediating role of identity, sustainable consumption attitudes, and consumer engagement is highly concerned. The value and contextual factors directly make impact on SCBOEI through identity, sustainable consumption attitudes, and consumer engagement.ImplicationsThe study significantly contributes to enriching the theoretical bases for advancing the literature on sustainable consumption behavior and online education. Our research provides managerial insights into government policy about the online education industry and marketers to set more advertisements to wake awareness of SCBOEI. Furthermore, higher education institutions should encourage their employees and students to participate in SCBOEI actively. All the stakeholders are essential to lead the consumer to SCBOEI by shaping their internal psychology while paying more attention to social equality (education, gender), responsible consumption, and decent economic development. Overall, addressing these issues will help to provide scholars with novel theoretical insights and practitioners with managerial advice.
Today's society, economy, and community are involved in terms of information technology usage. Thai university is a national university that has been highly supported by the Thai government. The term "autonomous university" refers to being independently organized under "bureaucratic frameworks." In other words, being an autonomous university lets the university to re-engineer itself to stay up-to-date for current market demands for labor. Most universities are already autonomous universities, but the system and structures still remain inefficient. Papers are used for records. Thai university has not kept records in soft copies. It is difficult to re-engineer university system because, to implement a new structure, it incurs huge costs. To digitize the university system, technologies, training program, and expertise are required. Moreover, online education and mobile students seem to be far though technology has been fundamentally implemented. Thai university mostly offers traditional classes, which it requires the students to attend with all paper works for the entire period. Active learning that has always been mentioned by government has still not been completely applied. According to these reasons the authors would like to recommend digital instruments, a way to re-engineer university systems, and other factors to support better educational systems.
Objective - Human capital is part of driving business. Knowledge and skill are needed in an organization to achieve goals. The research aims to study human capital theory combined with two-factor theories on job satisfaction. Because in 2020, there are many employees had resigned from the company. Methodology/Technique - The simplified methodology is to analyses human capital theory as in quantitative for corporate training structure; budget, manpower, and training program. Moreover, two-factor theories are qualitatively applied for corporate structure; organization policies, salary structure, and achievement. This survey research uses questionnaires with a sample of 109 cases calculated from Taro Yamane's formula. Findings - Data analyses are multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation. Findings express that the support in higher education and soft skills training is affecting job satisfaction. Furthermore, in terms of two factors show that all key elements are acted as the "Career Life Factors Chain". Business strategy implication expresses as knowledge management via business training rewards. It will be set under terms and conditions to support higher education to employees who work for five years. Besides, upskill and reskill training will provide to an employee who works for three years. Novelty - Meanwhile, two-factor theories business strategy implication as job evaluation and promotion. Criteria for considering are related to the position, age, year of service, and salary. Therefore, top managers can apply its backward analysis with the restructuring of human capital management. Type of Paper - Empirical Keywords: Human Capital, Job Satisfaction, Upskill – Reskill Management JEL Classification: M10, M19.
