Purpose: To identify the differences in perception of and adherence to the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guidelines among health care workers, patients, and the general public and to use them to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Methods: From October 16 2020 to November 30, 2020, a survey was conducted among 85 health care workers, 85 patients, and 82 general public regarding the perception of and adherence to the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guidelines. Results: Patients scored significantly higher than the general public in the adherence to the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guideline, and there was no difference between health care workers and general public, and patients and health care workers. In the multivariate analysis, the factors that influence the adherence of the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guide were found in women and the perception of the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guideline. Conclusion: In order to promote the implementation of the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guideline, it is necessary to increase the perception of the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guideline and provide additional education in men. It is necessary to investigate the reason behind why men have low adherence to the COVID-19 social distancing behavior guideline.
This study was conducted to identify the relationship between social workers' emotional labor, positive psychological capital, and job satisfaction, and to verify the mediating effect of positive psychological capital in the process of emotional labor affecting job satisfaction. For this study, social workers working in social welfare institutions in G Metropolitan City were conducted. As a result of the study, it was found that emotional labor of social workers had a direct effect on positive psychological capital, and positive psychological capital had a direct effect on job satisfaction, but emotional labor did not directly affect job satisfaction. In addition, it was verified that positive psychological capital, a mediating variable, has a mediating effect in the relationship between emotional labor and the dependent variable, job satisfaction. Based on the results of this study, the following are suggestions for maintaining a stable and positive internal psychological state that can improve the working environment and continuous work efficiency of social workers. First, it is necessary to improve the ability to cope with clients by improving the appropriate working environment, such as communication with fellow social workers, support, job sharing, and rest. Second, as a means of overcoming the exhaustion of emotional labor of social workers, institutional supplementation is necessary for professional knowledge and technical capabilities such as support and encouragement, provision of feedback, and problem situation manuals. Third, it will be necessary to develop and distribute educational programs that strengthen positive psychological capital and prepare various measures such as individual self-control and psychological control ability of social workers, personal emotion purification training, and capacity building.
The primary aim of this study was to provide a better understanding of the decision-making cycle of Chinese and Japanese tourists by testing the hypothesis via an extended model of goal-directed behavior. This study was also aimed at extending the concept of the goal-direct model and cognitive dissonance theory by examining the revisit intention for tourism. These two countries represent more than half of the tourism market in Korea. Despite the huge market potential of Chinese and Japanese tourists, relatively little study has been founded on predicting the revisit intention of inbounded tourists. A survey material was developed by adapting measures used in previous studies that assessed the push factor, pull factor, attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, anticipated emotion, desire, cognitive dissonance, and revisit intention. Note that 580 cases were on-site surveyed as popular tourist destinations in Seoul, South Korea. The 545 cases were analyzed for the final results. Statistical analysis was conducted through demographic analysis, Confirmatory factor analysis, and SEM (Structural Equation Model) analyses. This study found that the decision to go to Korea is a sound, enthusiastic, and delicate choice measured by the variable of the MGB. Results likewise showed that the theory could be extended to incorporate the impact of inbound visitors' perception of cognitive dissonance. This study is to recognize the decision-making process influencing the revisit intention of Chinese and Japanese tourists and draw academic and practical implications from the difference of the impact on each element.
