The future of a nation depends on how good the quality of education and human resources of the nation is. Higher education is an important part of the world of education that carries the responsibility in an effort to educate the nation's life. This study aims to determine the factors that influence student attitudes in choosing to continue their studies at Islamic Higher Education (PTAI). The background of this research is that there is a significant gap between PTN and PTAI enthusiasts and the lack of student interest in Islamic tertiary institutions is very interesting to be used as research study material to find out things that are considered by students in choosing PTAI. The results of the study indicate that the data used have met the assumption test of validity, reliability, adequacy and feasibility of the data so that it can be continued in the next analysis using factor analysis using PCA. All the variables contained in this study have an extraction value of more than 50%, so it can be concluded that all the variables used can explain these factors. In the "% of variance" column, because the specified eigenvalues is 1, then the value to be taken has eigenvalues greater than 1, there are component 1, component 2, component 3, component 4, and component 5. If you use 5 components then the total factors that can explain the variance are 20.011% + 19.692% + 15.935% + 14.632% + 10.745% = 81.015%
<p class="ABS-C">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan model pembelajaran <em>Project Based Learning </em>(PjBL) yang terintegrasi STEM dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran, hasil pembelajaran (aspek kognitif dan afektif) dan kompetensi siswa pada masalah teselasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain <em>posttest only control design</em> yang dilakukan dalam 2 kali pertemuan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII, dengan sampel kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII B kelas kontrol. Hasil pada penelitian ini yaitu model pembelajaran <em>Project Based Learning</em> terintegrasi STEM efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dengan rata-rata 70,22 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 45,43 pada kelas kontrol. Model pembelajaran <em>Project Based Learning</em> juga efektif dalam meningkatkan disposisi matematis dengan jumlah responden yang menjawab sangat setuju sebanyak 25,7% pada kelas eksperimen dan 10,1% pada kelas kontrol.</p>
The research was conducted using a quantitative approach. The population used in this study were students of Tadris Mathematics of UIN Malang as many as 40 people. The purpose of this research is to see the effectiveness of the holding of statistical software training for studenst of Tadris Mathematics of UIN Malang on understanding the concept of quantitative research methodology for. The effectiveness is seen by comparing the students scores before being given statistical software training with the students scores after being given statistical software training. The comparison was carried out using the paired t test. Based on the results of the normality test, it is concluded that the pre-test and post-test data have a normal distribution. Then the results of the correlation test or the relationship between the two pre-test and post-test variables can be said that there is no relationship between the pretest variable and the post-test variable. The results of data analysis show that the significance value is 0.000. Because the significance value of 0.000 < the alpha value used (0.05), Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is a difference between the average of pretest and posttest scores.
<p>The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the whole way we live, especially in the field of education. Distance learning as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic has had a stressful effect on students. This study aims to model the factors that influence students' stress levels towards distance learning. A total of 256 students of the Faculty of Teacher Training at Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang State Islamic University participated in answering a 4-scale Likert questionnaire that was analyzed using the ordinal logistic regression method. The results of the study prove that there are significant factors affecting student stress levels in distance learning during the pandemic. These factors are: (1) different environments between students and lecturers; (2) frequency of assignments; (3) difficulty in understanding the material; (4) strong internet connection; (5) difficulty in coordinating with groups; (6) non-fixed lecture schedules; (7) the number of activities at home; and, (8) internet quota needs. The power of association score R2 with the Nagelkerke method was obtained by 0.776 (77.6%) which means that 77.6% of the independent variables were able to explain the stress level of students.</p><p><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: </strong>Pandemi covid-19 telah mengubah keseluruhan cara hidup kita, khususnya bidang pendidikan. Pembelajaran jarak jauh sebagai dampak dari adanya pandemic covid-19 telah memberikan pengaruh stres pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pemodelan terhadap faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat stres mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran jarak jauh. Sebanyak 256 mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang berpartisipasi dalam menjawab angket Likert berskala 4 dan dianalisis dengan metode regresi logistik ordinal. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat faktor signifikan mempengaruhi tingkat stres mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh di masa pandemi. Faktor-faktor tersebut adalah: (1) lingkungan yang berbeda antara mahasiswa dengan dosen; (2) intensitas pemberian tugas; (3) kesulitan memahami materi; (4) kelancaran akses internet; (5) kesulitan berkoordinasi dengan kelompok; (6) jadwal perkuliahan yang tidak tetap; (7) banyaknya kegiatan di rumah, dan (8) kebutuhan kuota internet. Nilai kekuatan asosiasi R2 dengan metode Nagelkerke diperoleh sebesar 0,776 (77,6%) yang menunjukkan bahwa 77,6 % variabel bebas mampu menjelaskan tingkat stres mahasiswa.</p>
Swakriya atau yang sering kita kenal dengan DIY (do it yourself) memungkinkan seseorang untuk membuat atau memodifikasi sesuatu sendiri dengan bahan yang ada di sekitarnya. Banyak industri kreatif saat ini memanfaatkan barang bekas sebagai benda yang bernilai jual tinggi karena bermanfaat bagi kehidupan sehari-hari. Bahkan swakriya berkembang dalam berbagai pelatihan membuat kreasi kerajinan, daur ulang hingga produk rumah tangga (handmade). Sehingga tujuan pelatihan swakriya di kelurahan Kebonsari untuk mengembangkan produk ekonomi kreatif dari barang bekas menjadi benda fungsional. Metode kaji yang digunakan adalah PAR (Participatory Action Research) yang dimulai dari analisis permasalahan dan kebutuhan di wilayah kelurahan kebonsari, kemudian merencanakan pelatihan sebagai upaya kemandirian ekonomi, setelah itu melakukan tindakan berupa pelatihan swakriya dari barang bekas menjadi benda fungsional, dan tahap akhirnya yaitu evaluasi dan refleksi. Produk akhir dari pelatihan ini adalah rak dari kardus bekas, jilbab jumput, dan vas bunga. Produk tersebut nantinya sebagai modal usaha masyarakat kelurahan kebonsari
