Ecotourism is a concept of tourism development that pays attention to the physical, economic and sociocultural environment and provides positive benefits to local communities and tourist experience. The concept of ecotourism that can be applied in national park areas is ecological restoration. This study aims to determine the application of ecological restoration in nature-based tourism areas. The method used is descriptive qualitative by conducting observations, interviews and literature studies. The results show that ecological restoration is part of the concept of ecotourism that can be applied in the national park area. Ecological restoration is the most important part of ecotourism development. Examples of the application of ecological restoration in the area of Mount Merapi is by replanting trees after eruption and conservation of water. Ecological restoration is carried out to improve the quality of the damaged nature in accordance with its original state and can also support tourism areas around the National Park of Mount Merapi such as Tlogo Muncar, Goa Japan and Plawangan Turgo Hill.
Archipelago tourism has become a widely popular marine tourism destination for visitors and a tourism trend. Sustainable island tourism, which emphasizes environmental, economic, and socio-cultural impacts, is the basis of tourism growth. This article examines tourists' perceptions of Mandeh archipelago's tourist destinations based on sustainable tourism growth. Questionnaires and literature research were the approaches used to collect research results. The data was analyzed using descriptive frequency statistics presented in the form of percentages. The results showed that the characteristics of tourists, seen from gender, dominate female tourists by 67 percent, with a very active age between 17-25 years of age, is 78 percent. The majority of those who visit Mandeh Island more than once are 69%, 72% with friends, and a group. Overall, the Mandeh Islands' expectations of sustainable tourism growth are strong, but some still have issues related to the quality of the Mandeh tourism region's environment. From this study, it can be seen that environmental measures of sustainable tourism growth need to be strengthened again. As for having a positive effect on sustainable tourism growth in the tourist destinations of the Mandeh archipelago, the collaboration between tourism stakeholders needs to be increased again.
<p><em>This Community Service Program aims to improve teacher skills in managing student interactions and learning activities in online learning using the Padlet application. This PKM is based on obstacles in online learning faced by teachers, namely difficulties in supervising and ensuring students learn, observing students and limited opportunities to respond to students. This PKM was carried out for five months involving 28 teachers of sekolah pembanguan laboratorium, Universitas Negeri Padang. PKM activities include, 1) socialization and training, 2) dissemination, 4) teacher implementation and reflection. After participating in this PKM, both as a model teacher and as a learning observer, the teacher claimed to have gained knowledge and skills in managing interactions and online learning activities which was marked by the opening of opportunities for teachers to supervise and observe student learning activities and provide responses to students. This makes interaction and learning activities increase so that online learning becomes more lively and interesting. As a follow-up to this PKM, most teachers expect a sustainable mentoring program.</em></p><p>Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam mengelola interaksi dan aktivitas belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran daring dengan menggunakan aplikasi Padlet. PKM ini didasari oleh kendala dalam pembelajaran daring yang dihadapi guru yaitu kesulitan dalam mengawasi dan memastikan siswa belajar, mengobservasi siswa dan terbatasnya kesempatan untuk memberikan respon kepada siswa. PKM ini dilakukan selama lima bulan dengan melibatkan 28 orang guru sekolah pembangunan laboratorium Universitas Negeri Padang. Kegiatan PKM meliputi, 1) sosialisasi dan pelatihan, 2) diseminasi, 4) implementasi oleh guru dan refleksi. Setelah mengikuti PKM inibaik sebagai guru model maupun observer pembelajaran, guru mengaku mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengelola interaksi dan aktivitas belajar daring yang ditandai dengan terbukanya kesempatan bagi guru untuk mengawasi dan mengobservasi aktivitas belajar siswa serta memberi respon kepada siswa. Hal ini membuat interaksi dan aktivitas belajar meningkat sehingga pembelajaran daring menjadi<br />lebih hidup dan menarik. Sebagai tindak lanjut PKM ini, sebagian besar guru mengharapkan adanya program pendampingan berkelanjutan.</p><p><em><br /></em></p>
The development of tourism villages in West Sumatra is proliferating. It is indicated by the increasing number of tourism villages in West Sumatra. It is known that around thirty-two tourism villages are registered in the Tourism Village Network (Jadesta), which was initiated by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. The central and local governments encourage policies and emphasize the management of tourism villages. This study aims to determine the government's role at the local level in developing tourism villages, especially in the Payo tourism village. The data collection method used is descriptive qualitative. Data were obtained from field observations, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussions with governments, tourism offices, and local communities. Then, the data is presented as a descriptive narrative that has been verified. The results show that the role of local governments is significant in developing tourism villages. The local governments have provided roles in guiding and managing tourism villages and coordinating with academics and tourism businesses. Good interaction between stakeholders encourages the acceleration of the development of the Payo tourism village.
Ecotourism is a form of sustainable tourism development that benefits natural, economic and socio-cultural environments. The issue of glombal warming is aware of the importance of developing tourism with the concept of sustainable ecoturism. The aplication of the ecotourism concept can minimize the negative impacts that accur mainly on the natural environment. This article aims to analyze tourist perceptions and tourism development related to ecoturism principles.The data was obtained by observation, questionnaires, in-depth interviews and literature study. Then, the data were analyzed using descriptive frequency qualitative techniques. The result showed that tourist perceptions of the destinasion in Baluran national Park consisted of three variables, namely accessibility, facilities, and attractions. In accessibility variables, tourist perception are not good, facilities anf attractions ara classified as good. Tourism development related to ecotourism that manager have adopted the conscept of ecotourism as stated in the stategic plan in 2015-2019. Implementation of the basic principle of ecotourism according to the international Ecotourism Society in Baluran National Park is quite good by percentage of 73%. Generally , the principle indicators of ecotourism have not been maximally, so there is a need to improve the quality of tourism products, especially ecotourism
