Uyumlaştırıcı ÖzetBu çalışmada matris malzeme poliamid 6 (PA 6), katkı malzemeleri olarak yüksek yoğunluklu polietilen (YYPE), uyumlaştırıcı olarak melaik anhidrit ile aşılanmış polietilen (PE-g-MA) ve nanokil (NC) olarak montmorillonit kullanılmıştır. On farklı kompozisyonda malzeme üretilmiştir. Hazırlanan kompozitlerin içerisindeki uyumlaştırıcının ve nanokilin malzeme özelliklerine olan etkisi araştırılmıştır. Üretilen kompozitlere mikroyapı (TEM) incelemeleri, çekme mukavemeti, eğilme mukavemeti, sertlik gibi mekanik testler uygulanmıştır. Yapılan deneyler sonucunda % 5 nanokil ilavesi ile çekme mukavemetinde PA 6/YYPE/PE-g-MA(80/20/5) malzemesi için yaklaşık % 15 artış meydana gelmiştir. Kompozit içerisine ilave dilen % 1 nanokilin maksimum uzama değerini ortalama % 13,3 azaltmıştır. PA 6/YYPE/PE-g-MA(80/20/5) malzemesinin elastisite modülü malzeme içerisine % 5 ilave edilen uyumlaştırıcı elastisite modülü % 77 arttırmıştır. Aynı numune için %1 nanokil ilavesi ile % 13, % 3 nanokil ilavesi ile elastisite modülü değerlerinde % 38,6 ve % 5 nanokil ilavesi ile elastisite modülü değerlerinde % 63 artış meydana gelmiştir. Investigation of PA 6 / HDPE / Nanoclay Composites Mechanical PropertiesKey words PA 6; HPE; Nanoclay; compatibilizer Abstract İn this study, matrix material polyamide 6 (PA6), high density polyethylene as an additive materials (HDPE), maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene with as compatibilizer (PE-g-MA) and nanoclay (NC) was used as montmorillonite. Ten different compositions were produced material. Effect of the compatibilizer and nanoclay in the material properties of composites prepared were investigated. The produced composite microstructure (TEM), tensile, bending and hardness tests were applied. As a result of the experiments, the tensile strength of PA6 / HDPE / PE -g-MA ( 80/20/5 ) with the addition of 5% nanoclay increased for about 15%. 1% nanoclay addition reduced the overall tensile strength by 13.3%. Elasticity modulus of PA 6/YYPE/PE-g-MA(80/20/5) composite increased 77% with the addition of 5% compatibilizer. Elasticity modulus, in general, increased 13%, 38.6% and 63% with the nanoclay additions of 1%, 3% and 5%, respectively
