<p><em>Accuracy in data interpretation plays an important part in </em><em>experiment result analysis. In this paper, a Wireshark captured packet file obtained from a voice call made through </em><em>Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP</em><em>) system is analyzed. From the data, Wireshark added some bytes as additional information containing network adapter, IP, and protocol information. From the analysis, it </em><em>is concluded that the actual transmitted or received data can only be seen from the packet’s detail information section</em><em>.</em></p><p> </p><p><em>Keakuratan dalam interpretasi data memiliki peranan yang signifikan dalam analisa suatu hasil pengukuran. Dalam publikasi ini, file hasil capture Wireshark yang didapatkan dari panggilan suara melalui sistem komunikasi Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) dianalisa. Dari data hasil pengukuran, Wireshark menambahkan beberapa byte sebagai informasi tambahan yang berisi informasi mengenai network adapter, IP, dan jenis protokol yang digunakan. Dari hasil analisa, dapat disimpulkan bahwa jumlah data sebenarnya yang dikirim dan diterima hanya dapat dilihat dari bagian informasi detail paket.</em></p>
Image is an object that has characteristics in a visual form. Dental x-ray is one example of a digital image. Dental panoramic results have a weak lighting level, so image quality improvement is needed. Dentists still rely on visual observation in reading X-rays therefore the results are subjective. X-ray images do not always have good image quality, for example the results of dental x-ray that are dark or there are vague parts so that the images are difficult to be identified. This study uses a filtering method to improve the image quality of decentralized x-rays, namely unsharp filters, median filters, Wiener filters and Gaussian filters. The initial step is converting the image into gray image and continue with filtering process. The successful of filtering process was indicated by measuring the quantitatively using image quality parameters, namely mean square error (MSE) and peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR). The best average MSE is obtained by using a Gaussian filter for jpg format image that is equal to 0.685 with a PSNR of 49.935 dB.
The outbreak of the Covid-19 virus pandemic forced the government to enforce rules for studying from home. Although many online learning facilities is available, the access requires adequate internet connection and supporting devices. This limited internet connection is a problem often faced by the students. The Internet connection can be made using a data package from a smartphone; however, lack of knowledge in using the features in a smartphone causes difficulties to share access and the solution taken is each smartphone is subscribed to an individual data packet. The lack of knowledge on sharing internet access using smartphones is the issue faced by teachers and parents at TPA Ziyaadatul Hasanah, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. There is an alternative solution to overcome the problem by using Tethering and Hotspot technology to share the internet access using a single data package. Its application requires correct procedures so that the internet connection can be shared properly. This community service activity provided knowledge and skills training in using internet connection sharing methods using tethering and hotspot technology and how to solve problems that arise for teachers and parents of students at TPA Ziyaadatul Hasanah with the target to increase their knowledge and skills in sharing the internet access using smartphones. Based on the survey, the knowledge of participants increased after the training, with an average increase of 17.6% before training to 41.2% for participants with good scores. In addition, they can also solve problems that arise when implementing the method given in the trainingABSTRAK:Terjadinya pandemi virus Covid-19 memaksa pemerintah untuk memberlakukan aturan belajar dari rumah. Meskipun fasilitas belajar daring (online) begitu banyak tetapi aksesnya memerlukan fasilitas koneksi internet yang cukup dengan perangkat yang memadai. Keterbatasan koneksi internet tersebut menjadi permasalahan yang sering dihadapi oleh para murid sekolah. Koneksi internet dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan paket data dari telepon pintar akan tetapi keterbatasan pengetahuan dalam penggunaan fitur dari telepon pintar menyebabkan kesulitan untuk dapat berbagi akses dan solusi yang diambil biasanya adalah masing-masing telepon pintar menggunakan paket data individual. Keterbatasan pengetahuan tentang berbagi akses internet menggunakan telepon pintar tersebut merupakan masalah yang dihadapi oleh guru dan orang tua murid di TPA Ziyaadatul Hasanah, Duren Sawit, Jakarta Timur. Ada solusi altenatif yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut yaitu dengan menggunakan teknologi Hotspot dan Tethering untuk berbagi internet dengan satu kuota paket data. Penerapannya memerlukan prosedur dan tahapan yang benar agar koneksi internet dapat berjalan dengan baik, oleh karena itu, pada program kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diberikan pengetahuan dan pelatihan ketrampilan dalam melakukan metode berbagi koneksi internet menggunakan teknologi tethering dan hotspot serta bagaimana mengatasi permasalahan yang timbul kepada guru dan orang tua murid di TPA Ziyaadatul Hasanah dengan target untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan para peserta pelatihan dalam berbagi internet menggunakan telepon pintar. Berdasarkan hasil survei diperoleh bahwa pengetahuan dari peserta meningkat setelah mereka mengikuti pelatihan, dengan peningkatan sebesar rata-rata 17,6% sebelum pelatihan menjadi 41,2% untuk peserta dengan nilai baik. Selain itu mereka juga dapat mengatasi masalah yang timbul ketika menerapkan metode yang diajarkan
The current use of traditional house keys is still considered very less secure so that other methods are needed to improve the level of security. Humans have their own unique characteristics to distinguish one human from another. One of them is the face. This study aims to create an automatic modelling system that can detect a person's face. This modelling system is expected to be able to make a decision whether the person who will enter the house is a occupants of the house or someone else. This automated modelling system uses digital image processing. Feature extraction in this modelling system uses the Wavelet Dauechies 1 Transformation and for its classification uses the Backpropagation Neural Network method. This modelling system experimented 30 times for occupants with 28 successes and 2 failures. Meanwhile, for non-occupants, 30 trials were carried out with a result that 30 times successfully refused entry. This modelling system has an accuracy of 97.33% with an error of 0.38, the Mean Absolute Percentage of 26.23% and the Mean Square Error of 0.38.
