Hitting the ball is a complicated ability in softball academicie, because in appreciation to prioritizing movement skills, cognitive appearances additionally need to be investigated, one of which is attention. Meanwhile, going to hit the ball requires excellent attention for an individual student. Exhibiting gamma waves further influence arrangements of hitting performance. The objectives of this study were first, to determine the negative functional correlation between gamma brain waves and hitting skills, then second to know the positive functional correlation between attention and hitting skills and third to determine the effect of attention on increasing hitting skills. The method used in this research is an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design research design. The sampling technique in this study was using a saturated sampling technique. This investigation amounted to 20 subjects, in the calculation of the Pearson product-moment correlation test using SPSS v.23. The first results collected were p-value 0.026 with an r square value of 0.25, so there is a significant negative functional correlation between gamma brain waves and hitting skills in softball learning of 25%. The second issue obtained p-value 0.017 with an r square value of 0.28, so there is a significant positive functional correlation between attention and hitting skills in softball learning by 28%. Furthermore, thirdly, the results obtained p-value 0.0001 between pre-test and post-test, with a significant increase in skills of 70.17%, so there is a significant influence between attention and hitting skills.
This study aims to determine the impact of learning physical education (Penjas) on the formation of student character in social emotional learning. The ultimate goal of learning physical education is overall personality development, both physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects. These aspects are carried out systematically, through participation in physical activity based on health and social norms (values, behavior, fair play, etc.). The method used in this study is an experimental method that will be carried out on UPI LabSchool Junior High School students. The instrument that will be used in this research is a social emotional competence instrument that will assess the student's character in terms of self-management, self-awareness, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision making. The data will be analyzed through inferential statistics using a comparison test of two averages. There are three outcomes in this research, including 1) Articles published in national journals, 2) Articles contained in international conference proceedings, 3) Intellectual Property Rights. There are two students involved in this research.
Abstract. This study aims to determine the quality of life of Paralympic athletes who are members in West Java Peparnas Pelatda 2016. The research method is a method of crosssectional descriptive analytical. The population of all the people who have disabilities, the sample is non-athletes and athletes at the Paralympic Pelatda West Java with saturated sampling technique. The instrument used questionnaire WHOQOL-BREF. The results of the analysis and calculation of the data obtained, the four domains: physical health, psychological well-being, social relationships and the relationship with the environment is a good average range. Conclusion of the study that the quality of life for Paralympic athletes belonging Pelatda better Peparnas West Java. compared to non-athletes.
The purpose of this study was to measure the level of fitness and participation of students in physical education learning between athletes and non-athletes (regular) at SMA Negeri 2 Padalarang. This research uses quantitative research methods, with ex post facto research. The samples in this study were 10 PPLP rowing students and 10 non-athlete students (regular) with sampling techniques using Census Sampling (Saturated Sampling) and Purposive Sampling. The research instrument used TKJI and questionnaires in the data and analyzed using the t-test. The result is that Paddle PPLP students have a more significant impact on their fitness levels and participation in physical education learning. Based on these results, it can be concluded that education can be used as an alternative to increasing the level of fitness and participation of students.
This study departs from elderly people who experience problems with the level of life satisfaction and physical fitness. The research design used is causal-comparative, namely knowing how much the state of life satisfaction and physical fitness in elderly through gateball sports in terms of economics. The study sample was an elderly gateball athlete PELATCAB PORDA XII Jawa Barat 2018 Kota Bandung numbering> 100 athletes located in the training center. The sampling technique uses Random Sampling. The instrument used was using a life satisfaction questionnaire and a senior fitness test. Analysis of the data in this study using SPSS series 23 with the test equipment used include: normality test with kolmogorovsmirnov, homogeneity test with lavene statistics, and hypothesis testing with t test (independent sample t-test) to determine the differences between sample groups. Based on the questions and objectives of this study through relevant research with higher levels of physical activity and fitness, the risk of death is lower and older adults experience greater life satisfaction if they are involved in physical activity than those who are less involved in physical activity.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
