RESUMO Os fungos pertencentes à família Botryosphaeriaceae são potenciais fitopatógenos e por apresentarem hábito cosmopolita, parasítico, endófitico e uma grande diversidade genética, morfológica e ecológica têm uma considerável importância nos estudos de doenças de plantas. A dificuldade para esporulação e os longos períodos de tal etapa no ciclo reprodutivo dos fungos desta familia são as principais limitações para a manipulação dos mesmos in vitro. Diante disto, este trabalho objetivou testar frutos de ata (Annona squamosa) como meio de cultura alternativo, afim de obter tempos de esporulação inferiores aos já descritos na literatura. Por fim, a utilização dos frutos de ata como meio de cultura demonstrou-se eficiente na esporulação dos isolados testados. Alem disso, dois dos isolados avaliados so foram capazes de esporular nos frutos de ata.
O sorgo é uma cultura que possui capacidade de se adaptar a distintos ambientes e, concomitantemente, exibir uma produção razoável. Como a literatura menciona que essa cultura tende a ter boa adaptação com baixos índices pluviométricos, esta pesquisa visou avaliar o efeito de diferentes lâminas de irrigação associado a diferentes níveis de cobertura morta no comportamento a fim de verificar sua interferência variáveis de matéria seca da folha, caule e panícula e índice de trilha da cultura do sorgo (Sorghum bicolor L.), e comprovar a veracidade em condições climáticas cearenses. O experimento foi conduzido na fazenda Floresta, pertencente ao Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia (IFCE)-Campus de Umirim, no período de setembro de 2016 a janeiro de 2017. Os tratamentos foram dispostos em parcelas subdivididas, 5 lâminas x 5 níveis de cobertura com 5 repetições. As irrigações foram realizadasdiariamente e as lâminas aplicadas calculadas com base na evapotranspiração da cultura (ETc). Os tratamentos primários foram 50, 75, 100, 125 e 150% da ETc. Já os tratamentos secundários foram constituídos pela aplicação de bagana nos níveis de 0,00; 2,50; 3,75; 5,00 e 6,25 cm de cobertura. Por fim, os parâmetros analisados demonstraram que a associação do manejo da irrigação e da cobertura morta são fatores que melhoram a produtividade da cultura; A massa seca do caule e da panícula demonstraram melhor desempenho nos tratamentos L4 e L5, já a massa seca foliar alcançou maiores valores nos tratamentos L3 e L4. O efeito da cobertura do solo apresentou resultado significativo, dentre as variáveis analisadas, apenas para peso seco da panícula; O efeito para índice de trilha foi significativo apenas para lâmina de irrigação; A interação entre lâminas e coberturas do solo foi positiva apenas para peso seco da panícula com os melhores resultados para a lâmina de 821,15 mm, maior lâmina utilizada no experimento, associado ao maior fator de cobertura 6,25 cm.
A cultura da soja tomou posse de grandes áreas de produção agrícola no Brasil. É considerada uma cultura de grande expressão econômica, movimentando, inclusive, mercados internacionais. Entretanto, essa commodity é acometida por várias patologias de ordem fúngica, sendo o oídio uma das principais doenças encontradas nas áreas produtivas. Em geral, a principal e mais eficaz forma de controle dessa doença, é com o uso cultivares resistentes. Contudo, apesar de toda a importância dessa cultura para as lavouras brasileiras, é possível perceber que muitas áreas de plantios não são contempladas com plantas resistentes de forma suficiente, sendo a ineficácia de controle fitossanitário um dos principais fatores de diminuição na produtividade das lavouras de soja. Dessa forma, foi realizado um levantamento das cultivares registradas, em uso, que constam no Portfólio de Sistema Convencional da Embrapa Soja, sendo constatado que apenas três cultivares são consideradas resistentes a oídio. Dessa forma, conhecendo o contexto evolutivo da doença, foi possível verificar que a quantidade de cultivares registradas não acompanham a magnitude da doença.Palavras-chave: Glycine max L; fitossanidade; resistência genética; cultivares.
