Tujuan penulisan ini untuk mendeskripsikan Kajian teologis tentang sejarah dalam Alkitab. Dengan analisis teks sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip eksegesis, Untuk mendapatkan makna dan hasil yang terkandung didalam konteks kajian teologis tentang sejarah gereja dalam alkitab. Hasil analisis deskriptif sejarah gereja dalam Alkitab yaitu pertama, Kejujuran. Alkitab mencatat baik keberhasilan maupun kegagalan dari para tokoh didalamnya. Kedua, Pemeliharaan, Alkitab adalah kitab yang sangat terbukti kebenarannya dalam sepanjang sejarah kuno, dengan masih adanya naskah-naskah yang masih bertahan lebih lama dari karya yang lain. Deskripsi kajian teologis tentang sejarah gereja dalam Alkitab terdiri atas: Pertama. Perjanjian Lama, Gereja memiliki relasi dengan umat Allah dalam Perjanjian Lama, dimana dalam Perjanjian Lama Tuhan memilih Abraham sebagai emrio lahirnya bangsa Israel yang merupakan bangsa pilihan Allah. fakta tersebut menunjukkan mengenai permulaan terbentuknya jemaat Perjanjian Lama, dimana dalam kisah tersebut inisiatif seluruhnya bersumber dari Allah. Secara lingustik pandangan diatas juga benar, karena kata Yunani ekklesia muncul berulang kali dalam kaitannya dengan Israel dalam terjemahan Septuaginta. Dalam Septuaginta, ekklesia pada uumnya menerjemahkan kepada orang-orang yang dipanggil keluar untuk dikumpulkan oleh Allah sebagai milik-Nya. Kedua.
