In Advanced Relativity model conscious observer builds the cosmological model on the basis of elementary perception and experimental data. Each element of the model is related to the exactly defined one element of the universe with the bijective function of set theory. The physical universe represents a set X; the cosmological model represents a set Y. Both sets are related with the bijective function of set theory Y X f → :. The resulting theoretical model of the universe is an adequate picture of the universe as a non-created system in dynamic equilibrium in which life is the consistent part of cosmic dynamics.
Consciousness research of the last few decades approaches consciousness using classical research methodology, namely, as if consciousness was an object similar to quantum fields or elementary particles. This approach is not able to grasp the subjective aspect of consciousness, namely, one has the ability to observe, to be conscious of how one's mind is creating a scientific model of consciousness. Experiential methodology, on the other hand, focuses on the subject which is observing the mind working on the model of consciousness. It allows you to experience the source of the observation, which seems is consciousness itself. Consciousness research requires the enlargement of scientific research methodology in which experience has the same scientific validity as the measurement. We cannot directly measure the experience of the source of our observation, however, we can experience it and our experience is real. Conceiving a subjective experience as "non-scientific" is the main obstacle of today's science because it is excluding "the observer-the one who has the experience" out of the scientific picture of the world. The aim of this article is to include human experience as data whose value is of the same ontological importance as data obtained by measurement.
The Minkowski formula X4=ict indicates that time t does not express the 4th dimension of space-time, i.e., X4 is not t. Therefore, Minkowski space-time is not a 3D+T manifold, it is 4D. The 4D manifold has 4 spatial dimensions and is timeless, in the sense that it does not contain some physical time in which material changes run. In physics we experience the timelessness of 4D space as "Einstein's Now." From this perspective, the time that we measure with clocks is just the sequential numerical order of changes, i.e. motions that run in the timeless space of Now. On the other hand, past and future are nothing more than psychological or conceptual realities that derive from the neuronal activity of the brain. Therefore, "time flow" and "arrow of time" have only a mathematical existence.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
