Cet article propose une revue de littérature sur les groupes de parole à l'attention des frères et soeurs d'enfants porteurs de handicap et/ou maladie. Il s'inscrit dans la continuité des travaux de Dayan, Picon, Scelles et Bouteyre (2006), avec un état des lieux des publications en langue anglophone et francophone parues entre 2006 et 2020. Compte tenu de l'accroissement des études visant les troubles du spectre de l'autisme (TSA), un focus est proposé sur les groupes menés dans ce contexte spécifique. Après avoir décrit la diversité des cadres et approches méthodologiques/ théoriques des groupes fratries, leur mode de fonctionnement et objectifs, une analyse comparative des bénéfices qu'ils apportent est réalisée selon qu'ils concernent tout type de handicap/maladie ou se centrent sur les TSA. Les limites de ces études sont analysées et des perspectives pour des travaux futurs sont énoncés.
L’auteur propose une réflexion théorico-clinique sur le développement identitaire des fratries de personnes avec autisme, à partir des données d’une étude longitudinale de l’adolescence à l’âge adulte. Il s’agit d’un suivi de cohorte à cinq ans d’intervalle auprès de 24 sujets initialement âgés entre 13 et 18 ans. Une méthodologie clinique et projective est employée à partir d’un entretien clinique et d’un outil projectif ( Thematic Apperception Test ). Au-delà d’une diversité de parcours, les résultats tendent à montrer des difficultés d’individuation dans la construction de projets d’avenir personnels. Une vignette clinique représentative de cette problématique spécifique est proposée pour mettre en évidence l’intérêt d’une approche croisée clinique et projective dans la compréhension de ces situations singulières.
Cette étude a pour objectif d’évaluer les effets d’un dispositif centré sur la représentation de soi dans le but de favoriser l’engagement d’adolescents dans l’élaboration de projets d’avenir. L’écriture est conçue comme outil de médiation dans la construction narrative de soi, et vise un processus d’individualisation et de renarcissisation via le groupe. Le dispositif est mis en place auprès de 108 élèves scolarisés en 4 e dans un établissement relevant d’une zone d’éducation défavorisée. Ses effets ont été évalués à partir d’une analyse du contenu des productions écrites et grâce à un questionnaire permettant de prendre en compte l’évolution du niveau d’estime de soi et la qualité des projets d’orientation des adolescents. Les résultats sont différenciés selon le niveau scolaire et révèlent un impact significatif du dispositif sur le degré d’aspiration des adolescents. Ils invitent à une réflexion sur l’adaptation des modalités d’accompagnement dans le champ de l’orientation.
Cette étude se propose d’examiner les caractéristiques des liens entre grands-parents et petits-enfants rendus possibles par les technologies de l’information et de la communication (TIC). Une enquête par questionnaire en ligne a permis de recueillir le point de vue de 169 grands-mères et grands-pères concernant d’une part leur équipement et leur maîtrise des TIC de façon générique et concernant leurs relations familiales ; d’autre part leur relation avec un de leurs petits-enfants selon les TIC utilisées et selon les fonctions relationnelles assurées en particulier en fonction de l’âge du petit-enfant choisi. Les grands-parents ayant répondu à notre enquête sont très bien équipés et maîtrisent les TIC. Ils y recourent fréquemment tant pour leur usage personnel que familial. Ils communiquent avec leur petit-enfant selon des modalités adaptées à l’âge du petit-enfant et à son autonomie, plus intenses avec les plus jeunes et favorisant une reprise des échanges dans l’adolescence avancée. Si le choix des modalités de communication dépend en partie de l’âge du petit-enfant, les fonctions relationnelles assurées semblent davantage structurées par l’étape développementale du petit-enfant que par les caractéristiques techniques des TIC. Nos données confirment également que si les TIC permettent de maintenir un lien avec les petits-enfants éloignés géographiquement, ils viennent surtout en enrichissement d’une relation par ailleurs existante.
Dans une perspective combinant approche systémique et psychodynamique de manière complémentaire, cet article présente une étude portant sur le vécu des frères et soeurs d'enfants porteurs de troubles du spectre de l'autisme. Afin de répondre à leurs besoins spécifiques, un dispositif nommé « groupe fratrie » a été mis en place durant 3 ans dans le cadre d'un Centre Ressources Autisme. Comprenant deux groupes d'âges d'enfants de 5 à 11 ans et d'adolescents âgés de 12 à 17 ans, il a été coanimé par deux psychologues cliniciennes. Au fil des séances et à l'aide de supervisions réalisées dans le cadre d'une recherche action, des objets flottants ont été proposés pour créer une dynamique de groupe et ainsi permettre aux enfants / adolescents d'élaborer et d'exprimer plus aisément leurs émotions et leurs difficultés. Cette étude est ponctuée par une vignette clinique, dans laquelle est décrite la construction, la mise en scène et les répercussions d'un objet flottant adapté à cette population.
