Strategy and media are important components in the learning process. In the era of the covid-19 pandemic, various strategies and learning media that have been used by teachers, do not seem to be able to play more roles through online learning. This is due to the design of learning strategies and media that have been intended face-to-face (offline, offline). This paper aims to analyze the appropriate strategies and media used in learning Islamic religious education (PAI) in the covid-19 era. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Analyze and test the validity of the data using reference materials, including scientific articles, books, proceedings and final assignments (thesis, thesis, dissertation). The results of this study indicate that (1) the appropriate strategy used is distance learning strategy (PJJ). This is based on the stipulation of social distancing policies by the government towards the Indonesian people, including in the field of education; and (2) the right media to use is an online application in the form of WhatsApp Group, Google Classroom, E-Learning, Youtube, Google Meeting and Zoom.
Akidah is an element - a basic element of human belief as a belief system that describes the essence and source of religion. Meanwhile, morals are part of an ethical system that describes the direction and goals that religion wants to achieve. A good Muslim is one who has a straight and strong aqidah that guides him to carry out the Shari'a which is only aimed solely at Allah so that a commendable piety is reflected in him. Akidah and morals are closely related. Aqidah that is strong and true is reflected in the praiseworthy character he has and vice versa. In the conception of Islam, akidah morality is not only a medium that includes human relations with Allah SWT, but also includes relationships with humans and others or with their natural surroundings because Islam is truly Rahmatan lil 'aalamin. If these relationships can be implemented in harmony then that is what is meant by the true implementation of morals in a life that makes the world and the hereafter happy. Islam will reward those who have good morals and reward them with good rewards. Adorning oneself with good morals and piety will enter a person into heaven, because piety will benefit the servant and his master, while good morals will benefit between servants and fellow humans.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembinaan kerakter Religius Siswa yang dilakukan guru melalui kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Keagamaan (Tahfidz) di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi penelitian lapangan (field research). Pada penelitian ini data diambil dilakukan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai alat pengumpulan data dari sumber data primer maupun sekunder. Data bersumber dari guru pembina tahfidz, guru PAI dan para siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tahfidz di MAN 1 Medan. Pengambilan data penelitian ini dengan cara melakukan wawancara yang mendalam. Hasil penelitian/temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Adapun proses pembinaan karakter religius yang digunakan atau dilakukan guru pembina ekstrakurikuler tahfidz ialah melalui beberapa proses yang diantaranya ialah: a) Guru memberikan contoh yang positif (keteladanan) kepada siswa, b) Menumbuhkan kesadaran iman kepada siswa, c) Menciptakan pola-pola kegiatan yang dapat membiasakan siswa untuk melakukannya dan d) Memotivasi siswa. Sehingga dengan proses kegiatan tersebut dapat menjadikan siswa yang berkarakter religius. 2) Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari proses pembinaan yang dilakukan oleh guru maka terbentuklah karakter religious yang dimiliki siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan (tahfidz) di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan ialah: a) Keseriusan, b) Kesetiaan, c) Keyakinandan d) Kecintaan dengan Al-Qur’an.
