Cuando se tratan asuntos relacionados con el sistema educativo, es necesario tener en consideración la interdisciplinariedad de factores que le rodean, la educación superior en este caso demanda una constante participación de diferentes responsables para garantizar un elevado nivel de excelencia y mejoramiento institucional, este trabajo investigativo tiene como propósito indagar acerca de los principales aspectos e indicadores de evaluación para la calidad educativa en la carrera de Contabilidad y Auditoría de la Universidad de Guayaquil, a través de una metodología cualitativa con un alcance descriptivo, se busca hacer una revisión referencial en trabajos anteriores acerca de los criterios de evaluación de la calidad educativa a nivel superior y poder establecer una perspectiva general de lo que se puede aplicar para mejorar la calidad educativa de estas carreras manteniendo estándares de calidad; dando como resultado una correlación de responsabilidades desde el establecimiento de políticas educativas gubernamentales, gestión educativa, administración de recursos, establecimiento de bases curriculares de alto nivel, gestión pedagógica y profesional docente, activa participación estudiantil y un esquema de seguimiento para el futuro egresado, que garanticen elevar la imagen institucional y por ende generar recurso profesional de excelencia para la sociedad.
