Dehydrative Glycosylation Using Heptabenzyl Derivatives of Glucobioses and Lactose. -The dehydrative glycosylation of the 2-, 3-, 4-and 6-OH group of D-glucopyranose with the title glucobioses and lactose is carried out in a ternary mixture of p-nitrobenzenesulfonyl chloride, AgO-SO2-CF3 and Et3N. The reaction depends on the glycosyl donor and on the class of OH group to be glycosylated. When a quaternary mixture of the foregoing reagents and Ac-NMe2 is used for the reaction α-condensation is predominantly observed. -(KOTO, S.; MORISHIMA, N.; SHICHI, S.; HAIGOH, H.; HIROOKA, M.; OKAMOTO, M.; HIGUCHI, T.; SHIMIZU, K.; HASHIMOTO, Y.; IRISAWA, T.; KAWASAKI, H.; TAKAHASHI, Y.; YAMAZAKI, M.; MORI, Y.; KUDO, K.; IKEGAKI, T.; SUZUKI, S.; ZEN, S.; Bull.
