Recently, the two-dimensional molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) materials have attracted much interest owing to its potential application in optoelectronics and catalyze. In this paper, nano-MoS2 was prepared via a hydrothermal method through changing the pH value of the precursor solution. The structure and optical properties are systematically studied. The results indicate that laminated MoS2 structure is obtained. The pH value of precursor solution affects the laminated structure. The strong absorption in ultraviolet range and blue emission are observed in the prepared MoS2 structures. The photocatalytic properties of MoS2 by degrading Rhodamine B under ultraviolet light were observed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
