<p>Kedatangan Belanda sebagai penjajah ke Nusantara, Indonesia banyak membawa perubahan dalam segala sistem yang sudah ada, khususnya bagi masyarakat muslim yang dulu pernah ada dalam kerajaan-kerajaan muslim yang kuat. Pada saat daerah nusantara sudah dikuasai penjajah kolonial maka banyak kebijakan yang diterapkannya baik dari segi politik, sosial maupun ekonomi yang agak berbeda dengan sebelumnya. Kebijakan-kebijakan tersebut pada masanya berdampak pada kebijakan pendidikan yang diatur kemudian oleh Belanda, termasuk dari gurunya, materi yang disampaikan sampai, sarana-prasana yang mendukung proses pembelajaran tersebut dan lain-lain. Bahkan Kebijakan pada pendirian sekolah agamapun diatur yang semuanya diharapkan tidak mengganggu pada aturan yang sudah ditetapkan oleh Belanda. Sehingga penganalisaan terhadap kebijakan yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah Belanda selama mereka menjajah di Indonesia ternyata banyak yang merugikan ummat Islam. Sebagai contoh banyak tamatan-tamatan dari sekolah agama tidak diterima, kemudian guru-guru agama yang dimarginalkan bahkan materinya harus dapat izin dari pemerintahan Belanda, setiap proses pembelajarannya selalu diamati karena dikhawatirkan terjadinya pemberontakan. Hal ini menjadikan pendidikan Islam kurang leluasa dan sulit berkembang. Walaupun demikian usaha untuk terus memperjuangkan dan mempertahankan pendidikan Islam diwujudkan terus dengan mendirikan beberapa lembaga pendidikan seperti pesantren maupun madrasah. Materi-materi di Madrasah digandakan dengan pembelajaran agama dan umum, agar siswanya dapat diterima dikalangan kepemerintahan Belanda pada waktu itu.</p>
<p>Al-Azhar is one of the institution's pride the Islamic Ummah. History has recorded how the existence of Al-Azhar of the early Fatimid Dynasty to this day holds a great story very interesting. Not only that, Al-Azhar also contribute on the development of civilization and Islamic intellectuals. Many scientists the great scientists who were born from there. One thing that is not less important is that it turns out that the existing educational system in Al-Azhar turned out at the adoption by the institutions which exist in Western countries. Therefore, this paper will try to uncover the historical return of Al-Azhar during the Fatimid Dynasty, history of the establishment, and the factors that affect the educational system.</p>
The emergence of social media has had a significant impact on the way people communicate. This applies not only to individuals but also to government organizations. Most local governments in Indonesia have yet to harness the presence of social media as a means of communication. The objective of this research is to identify the use of social media as a communication medium in the dissemination of information and the barriers to information dissemination from the Office of Communication and Information Services (Kominfo) in the city of Medan. This study utilizes a qualitative descriptive method. Interviews, observations, or in-depth documentation are used as data collection approaches. The snowball sampling method is employed to identify informants. Data triangulation is used to examine the accuracy of the data, with the hope of reducing potential inaccuracies. The main components of the interactive data analysis approach used in this study are data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and verification. The output of this study is the utilization of social media by the Office of Communication and Information Services (Kominfo) in the city of Medan as a communication tool.
The pandemic has changed the work order and old patterns that have prevailed in the media. This paper highlights the changing work patterns and news media production in Surakarta City-Indonesia regarding the pandemic. The data were collected by interviews and observations of journalists assigned to cover the area of Surakarta and the newsroom. The results showed a change in the pattern of coverage, number, and broadcast pattern or news packaging model and changes in editorial policy. The orientation of the news is no longer merely to “worship” exclusivity. It requires high creativity so that it does not lose information. The pattern of coverage previously had to go by interviews and direct observations to become a mediated pattern. It became considered taboo for journalists in the era before the pandemic. Photos and videos no longer have to match the news narrative but can be used as substitute objects as long as they have relevance. The format of voice-over news has been changed a lot in the form of live broadcasts, and mini talk shows to fill the program's broadcast duration, which was affected by the decrease in the number of news reports reported by journalists during the pandemic.
<p class="06IsiAbstrak">the purpose of this research is to find out how the distribution of the existence of ancient tombs in the city of Medan, the form of management of ancient tombs in the city of Medan based on the Law of Cultural Heritage No. 11 of 2010, and the contribution of the findings of ancient tombs to the development of Islam in the Village Martubung Medan. The method used is transect walk. This method is carried out as a strategy to map the existence of cultural heritage from the existence of complexes of ancient tombs. His findings that the identification of ancient tombs in the city of Medan, especially in Martubung village, namely the Tomb of Datuk Hasan, Tomb of Datuk Payung, Tomb of Datuk Tongah, Datuk Dadih and Tomb of Datuk Hitam. To maintain the cultural heritage, the government collaborates with local communities to conduct socialization and conservation activities that include physical protection, transfer, excavation and recording, maintenance. The discovery of five ancient Islamic tomb complexes in Martubung Village shows the historical events of the entry and development of Islam in North Sumatra and cultural changes through the process of human adaptation to the environment.</p>
