Un exhaustivo cotejo en el que se consideran distintas facetas hechiceriles pone de relieve las deudas que con el texto italiano y con la tradición clásica contrae el pasaje cervantino, que recoge y adapta estas influencias al servicio de la lectura conjunta de su novela ejemplar.
