Este trabalho apresenta relato da implementação do Programa de Monitoria Acadêmica da UFOPA. Destaca-se dentre as ações do Programa, a experiência quanto a monitoria para acompanhamento aos discentes indígenas e a monitoria voltada para atendimento as ações de acessibilidade e à discentes com necessidades educacionais especiais. Apresenta dados de avaliação diagnóstica que objetivou entender as percepções dos estudantes acerca da monitoria para sua formação. A metodologia foi descritivo-analítica com abordagem quanti-qualitativa e os sujeitos foram monitores do Programa. Os resultados demonstram que a monitoria permite construir experiências significativas para um processo de inclusão social dos discentes assistidos, pois, ao desenvolver ações do Programa, este visa contribuir para melhoria do ensino de graduação, envolvendo professores orientadores, discentes monitores (bolsistas) e discentes assistidos, para melhoria da aprendizagem, condições de permanência e sucesso acadêmico.http://dx.doi.org/10.14572/nuances.v26i2.3303
Este artigo relata um estudo que objetivou descrever e compreender o processo de transformação de uma comunidade acadêmica endógena do interior da Amazônia – o Formazon – em uma comunidade acadêmica colaborativa que integra professores escolares, professores acadêmicos e futuros professores de diferentes áreas do conhecimento. Os dados foram coletados a partir de registros de reuniões, entrevistas e transcrições de áudios dos encontros durante 18 meses, e sua análise buscou responder às seguintes indagações: Como a comunidade Formazon vem aprendendo e se transformando? Como vem se constituindo em uma comunidade colaborativa? Quais os indícios dessa transformação? Os resultados indicam que a interlocução colaborativa que, no âmbito do Formazon, se estabeleceu acerca das práticas de ensino dos participantes, de pesquisas dessas práticas e das políticas que as permeiam delineou um novo tipo de formação contínua no grupo, baseado na reflexão e na investigação sobre as práticas educativas. Ao constituir-se em uma comunidade de estudo, problematização e pesquisa das práticas docentes, o Formazon empoderou o processo de desenvolvimento profissional dos participantes, pois incrementou a emancipação e a autonomia profissional.
A pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa objetivou analisar como a precarização do trabalho atinge os professores do campo. Entende-se por precarização diversas formas de mal-estar, decorrentes de pressões estruturais que as exigências do capital impõem ao trabalhador, afetando a qualidade do trabalho. Como procedimentos metodológicos realizaram-se pesquisa de campo, observação e entrevista com 18 docentes. Os dados apontam que baixos salários, qualidade da moradia, desinteresse dos alunos e infraestrutura das escolas são fatores que precarizam o trabalho do professor. O discurso dos entrevistados é ambíguo: reconhecem a precariedade do trabalho e ainda assim estão satisfeitos.
A problemática da organização do ensino nas classes multisseriadas tem sido amplamentediscutida por pesquisadores brasileiros e estrangeiros, em especial por aqueles quevivenciam a realidade desta forma de organização no meio rural no norte do país. Esteartigo tem por objetivo discutir na literatura a organização do espaço e do tempo nasclasses multisseriadas, tendo como objeto de análise uma pesquisa com abordagemdescritivo-analítica de natureza qualitativa desenvolvida no Estado do Pará envolvendoquatro professoras que atuavam em classes multisseriadas. Durante a coleta de dadosrealizou-se entrevistas com as professoras e observação das aulas por um semestre letivo.Neste texto se utilizam as observações realizadas como principal fonte de dados. Notou-senas classes multisseriadas que o tempo efetivamente dedicado a cada série é infinitamentemenor que o recomendado pela legislação, embora as professoras cumpram os duzentosdias letivos preconizados pela LDBEN. Conclui-se indicando que tal problemática pareceinvisível aos gestores das políticas públicas e aos legisladores e caminha na contramão doque prevê a legislação educacional brasileira.
