Construction industry showing remarkable progression throughout the country, due to increasingly complex and fast-track construction projects; several projects are facing major problems like conflicts and dispute occurrence. These problems have become a widespread feature of the construction industry; if these are not resolute quickly they can worsen causing delays in schedule which results to claims that needs lawsuit measures to resolve them, loss of money & time. The main motto of this paper is to outcast the factors which are responsible for conflicts & dispute, hence in order to find out about these factors, a study is conducted which gives the variables responsible to these problem, some of these variables are due to owner, due to contract, due to human behavior etc. Since, conflicts & disputes are the reason of worry because a well planned construction project can"t run smoothly, efficiently due to these problems. Therefore it is very important to manage them for better and efficient completion of the projects. This paper is expected to be assistance for the management of conflicts & dispute in upcoming projects.
Cost overrun has become a serious problem in construction sector. When the project could not be completed in estimated time at given budget then cost overrun occurs which is excess of actual cost over budget. These overruns have harmful impact on the financial system of country. Cost overrun have several factors that don't seem tobe taken into consideration at the time of planning resulting into delays and cost will increase. Within the study, we've got studied literature and known those factors influencing cost overruns. The primary findings emanating from the study disclosed that empirical studies have known variety of necessary factors that cause project cost overruns. These factors are categorized into several group depending on their category. It is found that understanding the cause of such factor by construction manager should help to avoid or minimize the cost overruns and gives better cost performance over the life of the project.
"Scheduling" is the word when it came in our mind it means the time table and most important thing is that, works should be done in time, but even if we try everything to keep our time table in schedule some of the factors that cause us late by increasing our time, they are called "DELAY FACTOR" and the time increase by them, known as "DELAY". DELAY is the factor which is responsible for every other factors which cause lose of time, money etc. especially the most prominent loss of time and money causes by delay factors is in construction. Today construction growth in the world is increasing day by day. In every part of the world an ongoing construction can be seen, so it is very important to keep every construction on time, but quite often it is not possible because many sub-factors from different main factors cause delay and keep the construction behind the time in comparison of schedule time. The main focus of this paper is to determine the current and most responsible Delay factors by methods of MCDM and by arranging and listing them, with the recommendation to minimizing them.
Rapid growth of technology, up gradation in latest innovation of electrical industry in 21 st century has led one of fastest growing waste stream in world commonly known as E waste. People became so techno geek that they cannot live without electronic gadget, from mobile phone to microwave, from television to telecommunication, and after their life ends, it became trash. We generate about 40 million tons of e waste every year and 30% of its part is made of plastic around 1.2 million tons of plastic and on the other side due to wide use of concrete as constructional element, accessibility of raw material is being questioned, their fore an attempt has been taken to fulfill both requirement, making concrete economical and less effective to environment. This article gives an overview of utilization of waste electronic plastic in concrete mixture as coarse aggregate. This solves the landfill problems, pollution and save economy. The use of waste material in concrete not only makes concrete economical but also helps in dumping of plastic.
