This research is directed at 2 main things, namely: (1) How is the Maha Santri Recruitment System at Ma'had Aly institution. (2) what factors hinder and support the Maha Santri Recruitment System at the institution. This research uses qualitative methods as for the reason the research uses qualitative methods because in this study, the researcher is also an instrument in collecting data about the Maha Santri Recruitment System, so the researcher has a very large role, because what happens during the research needs further description in writing the report. From the data obtained and the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that: (1) Maha santri recruitment system through selection, kutub turats test organized by the institution, this is what distinguishes it from other higher education institutions. (2) The inhibiting and supporting factors in the recruitment of Maha santri are the difficulty of finding Maha santri who are competent in terms of tafaqquh fiddin and able to read and understand kutubussalaf texts, while the supporting factor is that what is prioritized in this institution is the quality of the outcome of Maha santri.
This study is a qualitative research to examine how the principal's leadership strategy in improving character education. So, what becomes the guide in this research is the author's interpretation of the principal's leadership strategy in improving character education at Kosgoro Tangerang Junior High School. In accordance with the purpose of this study, the author wants to see how the principal's leadership strategy in improving character education and see what activities can improve character education, and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods through data analysis in the form of interviews, observations and document studies. The data sources of this research are the principal, deputy head of curriculum, deputy head of student affairs, homeroom teacher, teachers, and students. The location of the research was at SMP Kosgoro Tangerang. The results showed that the principal's leadership strategy in improving character education at SMP Kosgoro Tangerang has been running quite well. This can be seen from the many activities that can improve character education at Kosgoro Tangerang Junior High School, including: tadarus al-quran, duha prayer, youth red cross, saman dance, scouts and karate. The principal's leadership strategies in improving character education include: school program planning within one year for the short term and four years for the long term. However, there are still obstacles in these activities originating from students, human resources, limited facilities and infrastructure. Based on these findings, it is recommended that principals conduct open recruitment of teachers according to the needs and specifications of graduates and give more intense attention to character education activities so that they run optimally. School principals should make efforts to improve the aspects of human resources, facilities and infrastructure, so that they are better and optimal in improving student character. In addition, the principal can also collaborate with institutions or invite alumni or outstanding figures to provide stimulus to students in reaching the future.
Purpose:Educator Resource Management is a process of using competent human resources through the process of recruitment, selection, placement, training, and development to achieve the goals of educational institutions and professional teachers. Sources of data using primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques using non-participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative with Miles and Huberman's interactive model. Data validity uses source triangulation and data triangulation.Findings:The recruitment process applies the principles of professionalism and transparency. b) The MTS Muqaddimatul Akhlak Silo Jember selection included administration selection, interviews, and teaching practice. 2) Placement of educators decided by the Head of the Madrasah is carried out by determining the background of the diploma, prioritizing work experience and abilities (skills), and paying attention to the attitude and appearance of prospective educators who will apply. 3). Training and development at Mts Muqaddimatul Akhlak Silo Jember.Implication:To improve and develop the potential of these teachers, the school organizes Training and workshops held by other agencies with the hope that the potential and knowledge of teachers will increase and develop so that they positively affect school progress.
