Unicamp rua Jader Passos 374 13091-513 -campinas -SP Resumo: A matrícula de mulheres no ensino superior tem aumentado nas últimas CONTRIBUIÇÕES DE UMA DISCIPLINA ELETIVA EM AUTORREGULAÇÃO DA APRENDIZAGEM PARA A AUTOEFICÁCIA DE MULHERES ESTUDANTES DE ENGENHARIA 1. INTRODUÇÃO Mesmo com a ampliação no acesso ao ensino superior e o aumento no número de matrículas de mulheres nas universidades, convive-se com uma sub-representação feminina em áreas STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) e com uma menor participação das mulheres em algumas áreas do conhecimento, como nas Ciências Exatas e Engenharia (SAAVEDRA; ARAUJO; TAVEIRA; VIEIRA, 2014; MORAES;CRUZ,2018). Diante disso, nos últimos anos, no Brasil, observa-se o investimento em programas que visam incentivar o ingresso e a permanência de mulheres nas áreas STEM e que já apresentam alguns indicadores positivos como o aumento da participação feminina em publicações científicas (49%) e citações/paper e a ampliação no engajamento em práticas de inovação (TONINI; ARAÚJO, 2020 apud ELSEVIER,2017).Apesar desses avanços, a produção de artigos nas áreas de matemática e computação ainda está representada pelos homens, com 75% dos artigos publicados. Essa segregação a ser enfrentada pelas mulheres segue em dois sentidos: no sentido horizontal, referindose a um número menor de mulheres em determinadas áreas do conhecimento. Já a segregação vertical, refere-se ao menor número de mulheres em cargos de maior prestígio, concebidos como tipicamente masculinos e pode ser observada, por exemplo, a partir da participação feminina nas chamadas do programa Startup Brasil, em que as mulheres coordenaram apenas 11,25% das propostas submetidas e tiveram 10,46% de propostas aprovadas. (TONINI; ARAÚJO, 2020 apud CNPq,2018).Essas assimetrias na participação feminina em algumas carreiras, como nas engenharias é resultado da inter-relação de múltiplos fatores que englobam os âmbitos individual, familiar, institucional e social. Dentre os fatores psicológicos relacionados ao menor número de mulheres em áreas STEM, discute-se o impacto da autopercepção em relação ao seu potencial para estudos e carreiras STEM. Desde muito cedo, na infância, e ao longo do processo de socialização, criam-se os estereótipos que veiculam a ideia de supremacia masculina nas áreas STEM (UNESCO, 2018). Uma vez assimilados, esses estereótipos afetam as crenças de capacidade pessoal das mulheres, impactam no interesse, no desempenho, no sentimento de pertencimento e identidade acadêmica e profissional, desencorajando-as a seguir carreira nessas áreas (SHAPIRO; WILLIAMS, 2011; UNESCO, 2018). Acrescenta-se ainda que o ambiente na engenharia é pouco atrativo para as mulheres, o que, por sua vez, é reforçado pelo número reduzido de mulheres estudantes e profissionais (LOMBARDI, 2016;SHAPIRO;WILLIAMS, 2012).O ingresso em cursos na área das Engenharias, para muitas mulheres, é o início de uma série de enfrentamentos dos desafios que permeiam as relações de gênero em sala de aula, no trabalho de campo, nos estágio...
