Mimusops elengi is Indian native plant and is used for a long time in the history of the medicine. Plant was well studied in majority of the world because of its high potential medicinal value. Traditionally all different part of this plant, namely leaf, root, fruit, seed, bark and flower are used to cure various kinds of disorders. Information compiled here will be useful to improve the present investigation of several health care research regarding the Mimusops elengi.
A 65-year-old male with a history of smoking since 30 years presented with breathlessness, hemoptysis, multiple swellings all over the body, and weakness in September 2010 at our hospital. Clinically, a diagnosis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with cutaneous lymphoma or soft tissue tumor was made. Chest X-ray (CXR) and computed tomography (CT) scan revealed a neoplastic lesion in the right lung with secondary cavitation. Biopsy of the cutaneous nodules showed metastatic deposits from squamous cell carcinoma. Metastatic skin cancer is a relatively rare complication of internal malignancy. The clinical features of metastatic skin disease vary enormously. They may present as erysipeloid, sclerodermoid, alopecia neoplastica or in an inflammatory or bullous form or as multiple nodules as in our case. A high index of suspicion for metastatic deposits is required in an elderly male patient who is a known case of lung cancer or even one who is a chronic smoker and presents with such cutaneous lesions.
Many cancers are associated with chromosomal rearrangements, which in some cases yield fusions between disparate genes and impact cancer phenotypes. Rapid discovery of gene fusions in cancer can facilitate a deeper understanding of specific cancers and may become an important diagnostic tool in clinical settings informing decisions on cancer treatment. An attractive and cost-effective method to identify and study gene fusions is by massively-parallel RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), which provides rich transcriptome profiling data and, with appropriate computational analysis, can discover fusions between transcribed genes. Herein we present data exploring the robustness of gene fusion detection by RNA-seq on Illumina sequencing platforms with TopHat-Fusion, a RNA-seq read aligner specifically designed to detect expressed gene fusions. Using a set of synthetic fusion transcripts to spike in to human RNA samples, we demonstrate quantitative detection of gene fusions by RNA-seq. Additionally, we report the sensitivity of gene fusion discovery across different RNA-seq library preparation methods, including mRNA enrichment by poly-A selection, rRNA-depletion, and exome enrichment by targeted capture. This data helps build workflow recommendations for the detection and study of gene fusions by RNA-seq. Citation Format: Stephen Gross, Lisa Watson, Smita Pathak, Irina Khrebtukova, Gary Schroth. The study is being done on the problems faced by the hospitality and tourism industries. Their growth and development. But here the research is done specifically in respect to OYO. The objective here is to tell the growth story of OYO room in the most objective way possible as a "situation case". One of the efforts has been to provide a body of information of sufficient size to analyse the reasons for the current success of OYO room in particular and the emerging Indian business model of innovative use of technology and marketing principles. The case presents the successful story of the entrepreneur Ritesh Aggarwal, about how he used the idea of hospitality and hotels that generated a significant investment in this segment. The government is in action is focusing on "Make in India", which means that entrepreneurs like Ritesh Aggarwal will be encouraged and supported. It is necessary to create a comfort zone for the young minds so that they can become successful businessmen, leading to the economic growth of the country. So, this Project Report is being prepared by researching the problems faced by the OYO regarding its hospitality and customer satisfaction and its marketing. There are some particular solutions that are recognized by our team for the respective problems which will be useful for the hospitality and tourism industries to overcome certain problems. These solutions will open the doors for the industries that are going to be in this field referring the past data analysis of OYO which is studied and prepared by our team in this Research Project.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
