Medical imaging is gaining significant attention in healthcare, including breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most common cancer-related death among women worldwide. Currently, histopathology image analysis is the clinical gold standard in cancer diagnosis. However, the manual process of microscopic examination involves laborious work and can be misleading due to human error. Therefore, this study explored the research status and development trends of deep learning on breast cancer image classification using bibliometric analysis. Relevant works of literature were obtained from the Scopus database between 2014 and 2021. The VOSviewer and Bibliometrix tools were used for analysis through various visualization forms. This study is concerned with the annual publication trends, co-authorship networks among countries, authors, and scientific journals. The co-occurrence network of the authors’ keywords was analyzed for potential future directions of the field. Authors started to contribute to publications in 2016, and the research domain has maintained its growth rate since. The United States and China have strong research collaboration strengths. Only a few studies use bibliometric analysis in this research area. This study provides a recent review on this fast-growing field to highlight status and trends using scientific visualization. It is hoped that the findings will assist researchers in identifying and exploring the potential emerging areas in the related field.
Fishery is an entity engage with fish catch on the sea ground by fisherman. The fish catch in Peninsular Malaysia has declined by more than 90% since 1960s. Thus, it is important to know the maximum sustainable yield in order to overcome the decreasing number of fish and estimate the number of fishes that can be caught from the sea without endangering the fish population. The main purpose of this study is to calculate the maximum sustainable yield of fish catch in Terengganu by applying Bayesian surplus method. The results show that the amount of maximum sustainable yield is 100100 tons with 205700 fishing trips per year. Based on the value of maximum sustainable yield and optimum number of fishing trip, the current fish stocks have been overfished from year 2000 to 2008 since the fish catch and fishing effort for the year exceeded the optimum value. As a result, the numbers of fish catch for the year 2009 to 2016 was lower even though the fisherman put higher fishing effort.
Efficiency and effectiveness are two factors that have been considered in measuring the overall performance of any institution. The objective of this study is to measure the technical efficiency scores as well as the effectiveness of the Malaysian banking sector, and thus, determine their overall performance. The study analyzes the performance of the Malaysian banking sector, which comprises two types of bank, namely commercial banks and Islamic banks. The study covers the period of 2011 to 2015. A two-stage analysis of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) has been used in this study. The results of the analysis show that the average efficiency scores are greater than the average effectiveness scores for both types of bank for the years 2011 until 2015, while conventional banks perform better than Islamic banks. An efficient bank does not always equate to it being more effective. Together, these two factors reflect the overall performance of a bank. An analysis on the correlation between efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance scores indicates that a positive and strong correlation exists between effectiveness and performance, whereas there is a negative correlation between efficiency and effectiveness scores.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
