Measurements on over ・ track building were conducted in order tD clarify train − induced vibration ． The characteristics of the structurai vibration of the bu 姐 ding caused by train − passage were discussed ． It was f （ 〕 und that the propagation of the vertical vibration aIong the p 皿 Iar was affected by the naturai 丘 equency ofthe buiIding ． It was also discovered that the characteristic80f the structural vibration 丘 ） r the veTtical propagation was different from these f ｛ ）r the horizontal propagat 丘 on along the beam ofthe bu 丑din 耳 ． Finally the propa 臼 ation of the train −induced vibration was calculated using EE ． M in order tr 〕 compare the measured results ．
