Ce travail de recherche, rendu possible par une étroite collaboration entre le service de Pédopsychiatrie et le Service de Gastro-entérologie de l’Hôpital Necker-Enfants Malades, propose d’étudier l’impact de la nutrition parentérale prolongée (NPP) et de la greffe intestinale sur le psychisme de l’enfant qui en bénéficie. L’objectif est d’étudier chez ces enfants le vécu psychologique, l’image du corps, la représentation psychique de l’organe malade et du greffon ; et chez les parents, le vécu psychologique. Les outils utilisés sont les dessins du bonhomme et du contenu intestinal avec l’observation clinique (enfants) ; des entretiens semi-structurés (vécu des parents). L’analyse qualitative des entretiens a permis de dégager des thèmes principaux (représentation de la NPP, répercussion sur la relation parents/enfants, représentation de la greffe) et des sous-thèmes. L’analyse des dessins et l’observation clinique ont permis de retrouver une image du corps perturbée. L’hypothèse que l’investissement psychique du greffon intestinal (archaïque/ génitalisé) peut être mis en évidence par les caractéristiques du dessin du contenu intestinal est confirmée.
