Las Transiciones Efectivas y Armónicas se definen como una serie de estrategias de acompañamiento educativo enfocadas a la garantía de la adaptación escolar de preescolar a primaria, este es un proceso que requiere de articulaciones a nivel intrainstitucional e interinstitucional con acciones reales que faciliten un acoplamiento con el menor traumatismo posible para los niños, niños en el nuevo escenario formativo. Esta investigación se plantea como problemática algunas situaciones poco favorables en la garantía de las transiciones armónicas en la Institución Educativa Ciudadela Educativa de Bosa, lo que conlleva baja adaptación y nivel académico con el que avanzan los niños y niñas al inicio de la básica primaria. La metodología de este estudio corresponde al enfoque cualitativo, el método de investigación acción y paradigma sociocrítico, empleando instrumentos de recolección y análisis de datos como el diario de campo, observación, entrevistas semiestructuradas y talleres de investigación. Como resultados se encontró que: la institución no cuenta con un documento orientador para la adaptación escolar de básica primaria, las planeaciones y practicas pedagógicas no son adaptadas con los lineamientos y las normativas nacionales para las transiciones armónicas. Para finalizar, se desarrolla una propuesta pedagógica a modo de documento orientador enfocado a la garantía de las transiciones para los grados primero, con al que se busca garantizar la continuidad y permanencia en los ciclos educativos de los estudiantes a fin de disminuir a largo plazo la repitencia, deserción escolar y mejora en la calidad educativa.
