Abstract. Education and emotional intelligence, as well as emotions, are increasingly integrated into our society and educational systems. The same happens with meaningful learning through cooperative activities and the development of socio-affective skills. This research is concerned with knowing the emotions, sensations and learning that a cooperative activity of corporal expression in university extension (ECEU) can generate. For this purpose, the POMS questionnaire and ten open questions were administered to the participants of the IX Inter-University Meeting of Corporal Expression held in Huesca, obtaining a sample of 64 responses represented by 31 men (48.4%) and 33, women (51.6%). The semantic analysis of the discourse generated categories of words that resonate with emotions with oneself, with another, social, experiential and personal growth; space and places of interaction (environment), social bond, and learning. All this indicates that this extra-academic experience of university extension was enriching at the affective-behavioral, social and cognitive level. It is suggested to promote its continuity due to the benefits observed with the responses obtained. It is concluded that ECEU activities create a positive emotional impact among participants and that the wealth it brings, in addition to being satisfactory, generates personal and social well-being.
Abstract. Body Percussion is a content that is being used in Physical Education (PE) to develop skills related to Body Expression. After observing that there is scientific evidence of its possible socioemotional benefits on people who practice it, this study aims to analyze whether a practice of body percussion, specifically Esku Dantza, a collective dance that uses rhythmic patterns with clapping to interact with their peers, it can lead to changes in the emotional state of students in initial PE teacher training.. The POMS questionnaire was administered to 82 university students, 28 women (34.1%) and 54 men (65.9%) upon arrival to class (Pre) and upon completion (Post). The proposal followed a progressive pedagogical process that resulted in increasing the values of tension and vigor as well as decreasing the values of depression, anger and fatigue. At the end of the intervention, the students expressed words such as feeling energetic, happy and motivated. These results could reaffirm the possible benefits of these practices, promoting physical activity through artistic practices, not competitive; as well as generating emotional impact that, added to a significant learning, makes them internalize this practice and generates the necessary motivation to implement it in their future professional fields (educational, sports, therapeutic, ...) or can even be used as a strategy to incorporate dance between the male gender.
Abstract. Permanent training related to corporal expression (CE) appears to be scarce and unattractive for teachers. However, it is known that there are specific body percussion (BP) formations that are generating positive emotions, becoming a source of motivation for teachers and a challenge for their students. This research aims to find out the changes generated in the perception of teachers regarding the knowledge and possibilities that the BP can have to be implemented in Physical Education (PE) as a CE content. It is an action research where a BP-specific online Master Class was designed and implemented and it was expected to observe a change in the participant's opinion after the experience. For the initial and final evaluation of the teachers' perception regarding BP, part of the COPEFEAEC questionnaire that refers to BP and it is in validation process, was administered. The final sample that participated in the PRE-POST study consisted of 92 education coordinators in Catalonia, with gender (male / female) balanced by almost 50%, with an age range of 20 to 60 years old, 73.9% of primary education and 26.1% in secondary, being specialized in PE almost 98%. Significant differences (p <.001) were obtained with respect to BP knowledge, since at the end of the session, 58.7% expressed having increased their knowledge. A higher degree of agreement was observed in the POST situation regarding accepting BP as EC content in PE classes.
