The t r a n s i e n t s t a t e of the power system is represented as a continuous time nonlinear d i f f e r e n t i a l e q u a t i o n and observation of output is obtained as a d i s c r e t i z e d v a l u e a t every cycle of system frequency by using the mean v a l u e d e t e c t i n g c i r c u i t device, The n o n l i n e a r . d i f f e r e n t i a 1 e q u a t i o n of state is d i s c r e t i z e d a t e a c h o b s e r v a t i o n i n s t a n t by Taylor expansion, and then the theory of discrete linear observersis a p p l i e d t o t h e d i s c r e t i z e d system. D i g i t a l computer simulation confirms that the observer estimates t h e state s u c c e s s f u l l y n o t o n l y in t h e case of hunting b u t a l s o i n s t e p -o u t t r a n s i e n t state of a synchronous machine,
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
