The nonlinear output properties of scattered triangulation laser displacement measurement sensors with charged-coupled devices (CCDs) ware analyzed and optimized. In order to improve the high measurement precision and performance of the displacement and inclination for an object surface, dynamic skewness was regarded as coefficient for weighted linear optimization fitting algorithm to calculate the displacement instead of the averaging method; kurtosis was used to select the minimum and maximum of asymmetric distribution for inclination calculation. And, a novel calibration framework, which configured with a stepped motor to correct the discrepancy and update the coordination origin for CCD array, was introduced.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
