The numerical model following the equivalent magnetic domain method is proposed to calculate the anisotropy of the magnetic properties of electrical steel. The angle difference between magnetic flux density vector and magnetic field vector, which is observed in the measurement data, is clearly expressed by the proposed model. The angles characteristics of stepwise or lamped shape are shown to be consequences of the strong magnetic anisotropic property.Index Terms-Angle difference, anisotropic steel, finite-element method, magnetic field vector, magnetic flux density vector, rotational magnetic field.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
