This study sheds light on the identity of Islamic education in Indonesia and Singapore to fight against radicalism. This study focuses on comparing Indonesia and Singapore in awakening multicultural consciousness, particularly on philosophical and practical religious education. The crisis of ideology faced by Muslim society in the world has an impact on the genesis of religious movements that legitimate violence and terrorism. This study is based on the sociological perspective and aimed at knowing the philosophical and practical construction of Islamic education in Indonesia and Singapore. The focus of this study is on preventive and persuasive deradicalization. Religious education institutions in both countries have multi principles and practices of education, which is implemented particularly in preventing Islamic ideology that teaches violent values and terrorism. Anticipating the development of understanding radicalism, in both countries, Islamic education has formulated policies that are accommodating with universal values and cosmopolitanism of Islamic civilization. Such efforts are implemented by pesantren and madrasah in Indonesia and Singapore to build harmony among fellow human beings and transmit the character of egalitarian, democratic, humanist, inclusive, and civilized.
Tulisan ini membahas Etika Global Deklarasi Parlemen Agama-agama Dunia dan signifikansinya bagi penciptaan dunia yang damai, dalam pengertiannya sebagai negative peace ataupun positive peace. Ada beberapa nilai yang harus ada dalam dunia yang damai, yaitu: non-kekerasan, kesejahteraan ekonomi, keadilan sosial, keseimbangan ekologis, dan kesetaraan, khususnya keseteraan gender. Nilai- nilai ini pulalah yang dipromosikan oleh Deklarasi Etika Global yaitu, komitmen pada budaya non-kekerasan dan hormat pada kehidupan, komitmen pada budaya solidaritas dan tata ekonomi yang adil, komitmen pada budaya toleransi dan hidup yang benar, dan komitmen pada budaya persamaan hak dan kemitrasejajaran antara laki-laki dan perempuan. The agency or the administrative office of the State does not necessarily succeed in carrying out its duties, sometimes the dispute arises due to a decision of the State administration that can cause dissatisfaction. The proposed termination of village chief conducted by the Village consultative Agency is not qualified as a reason to dismiss the head of Sumurber village, Panceng District, Gresik Regency. In addition to the State Administrative Decree/object dispute is contrary to government regulation about the village, also contrary to the regional regulation of Gresik Regency number 12 Year 2006 about the village government. On the other hand, the country's administrative decisions are contrary to good principles of government. Because the State Administrative Decree/object dispute is a state administrative decision contrary to good laws and principles of government. The author uses a method of scripting which provides the solution of legal case ATS that occur. This study analyzed the cancellation of decree of Regent of Gresik No. 141/678/HK/437.12/2013, dated 3 May 2013 concerning the dismissal of the village head of Sumurber, Panceng District, Gresik Regency. The decision of deliberation of the village consultative Agency related to the termination of the village head has been null and void, as a result of the Regent's decision on the termination of Sumurber village chief is irrevocable.
This study aims to determine the systematic and fundamental philosophical foundation of Walisongo State Islamic University (UIN). This research uses a philosophical and historical approach and content analysis method to obtain information in depth. Begins with data collection through literature studies, documents are related to it. The scientific integration of the Unity of Sciences paradigm in the scientific cluster being developed contains three strategies that try to answer. The first is the science of religion that is not down to earth or lacks benefits for the wider community. Then the second is when modern sciences are tasteless and value-free. The last is the local culture which began to fade with the development of modernization. These problems will be answered with the humanization of Islamic sciences, the spiritualization of modern sciences, and the revitalization of local wisdom. Scientific development in the clumps of Islamic sciences produces religious knowledge following the times, not rigid and friendly to local wisdom. Meanwhile, the natural sciences and social humanities are planted with spiritual values. Thus, this research can be used as a stepping stone or a model for scientific integration at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) to shift to the State Islamic University (UIN).
The existence of facilities and infrastructure at MTs NU Menara is very influential in supporting the quality of student learning. With the availability of facilities and infrastructure in educational institutions, it can make it easier for students and teachers to carry out learning activities. Adequate facilities and infrastructure such as the availability of a library can be used by students to help support teaching and learning activities. The use of facilities and infrastructure is well utilized by the teacher with the LCD in the classroom so that learning is more effective and not boring. MTs NU Menara is a madrasa with limited facilities and infrastructure. The learning system applied by the teacher in the classroom is not only based on textbooks that only use the lecture system but often also utilizes existing facilities and infrastructure in madrasas such as LCDs and the use of libraries so that learning is more interesting and not boring. Facilities and infrastructure at MTs NU Menara, which have limitations, do not necessarily eliminate infrastructure just like that. As for the means used in the removal of this item, it is very rarely done because items such as benches and chairs have a durable nature. At MTs NU Menara, items are deleted at least once every 5 years, even if there are items to be deleted. This study aims 1) to determine the implementation of facilities and infrastructure management in supporting the quality of student learning at MTs Nu Menara, Gunungteguh Village, Sangkapura District. 2) find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of facilities and infrastructure management in supporting the quality of student learning at MTs Nu Menara, Gunungteguh Village, Sangkapura District. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. the data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the completeness of adequate facilities and infrastructure will facilitate the learning process so that it is more effective and efficient in carrying out teaching and learning activities. 2) the supporting and inhibiting factors in the quality of this learning are from within the madrasa itself, namely the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure so that it can support the learning process, while the inhibiting factors include lack of funds, in addition to the lack of awareness of students in maintaining facilities and infrastructure in madrasas this is due to the lack of a sense of belonging to students in using these facilities and infrastructure.
