The purpose of this research is to examine how humor leadership styles affect innovation and productivity in Pakistan's mobile telecommunications industry in the south Punjab area. It examines how emotional intelligence may be used by leaders to boost organisational performance. This research demonstrates the impact that emotional intelligence has on innovation and productivity in the telecommunications industry in this area. This research uses information from a highly regarded mobile telecommunications industry in the South Punjab area of Pakistan. This article explores a variety of perspectives on leadership. In various settings, these theories argue, leaders act in certain ways. For them, the ultimate success of their businesses depends on continuing the current trend of development and productivity. This research also discusses the many leadership styles used by successful business owners and managers to foster an environment where innovation and productivity thrive. The information for this research was gathered by use of questionnaires. The study's statistical analysis and findings corroborate the link between hilarious leadership and employee innovation, which in turn boosts organisational effectiveness. Humorous leadership is seen to have a beneficial influence on employees' ability to think beyond the box. A leader should keep the office lighthearted to foster an environment conducive to innovation. KEYWORDS: Organizational effectiveness, emotional acuity, self-defeating humour, self-enhancing comedy, mobile communications, and staff creativity are all boosted by humour that fosters social connections and competition.
Purpose: The purpose of the study is to examine impact of micro-financing on poverty alleviation, access to finance and economic growth by comparing Bangladesh and Pakistan.Design/methodology/approach: Panel data of 56 microfinance institutions drawn by simple random sampling from 2002 to 2013 has been collected from financial statements of microfinance institutions and World Bank. Diagnostic tests, variance inflation factor (VIF) and breusch pagan have been applied to check muticollinearity and heteroscedasticity respectively. Data has been analyzed using fixed effect model as indicated by Hausman test.Findings: The analysis evidently authenticates that micro-financing has more significant impact on poverty alleviation and economic growth in Pakistan than Bangladesh. At the same time, access to finance in Bangladesh has more noteworthy impact than that of Pakistan.Originality/value: This study brings to light culmination since beginning of micro-financing on the basis of outcome, experience and comparative regional arrangements helpful for all stakeholders and regulatory authorities in both countries.
This informative study aims to clarify the discrepancy amongst Green Human Resource practices and Corporate Sustainable Development and provide as a road map towards green innovation, Managers were taken into account to identify the Gap and potential ways to close it. In this Article, numerous challenges faced by Managers in implementation of Green HR Practices will be discussed, as well as how effectively the difference between green innovation and corporate sustainable development have been addressed. The target demographics were HR Manager, Production Manager as well as Board of Directors working in textile sector of Punjab, Pakistan. The sample of 440 questionnaires were conducted from small, medium and large industries to gather primary data. Participants were asked questions using a semi-structured questionnaire. Green Human Resource practices have enabled the industries to use greener resources that would help to minimize the cost and improving the efficiency of production system. The research was intended to support the hypothesis that there is a positive & significance influence of Green Human Resource practices on corporate sustainable development with mediation of green innovation. Results showed that Different Managers face significant challenges in implementing the Green HR Practices which is more great exercise than it should be.
This research has investigated the role of media in the governance of Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) listed fertilizer companies. The study has taken the role of literacy as a moderator in the relationship. The main aim of this study is to improve the understanding of managers regarding the role of media in the governance of companies. The data was collected through a self-administered survey questionnaire. This research used the simple random sampling method for estimating the role of media in corporate governance with the moderating influence of literacy by using the data of two hundred top and middle-level managers from the fertilizer companies of the Southern Punjab region listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange. The results of this study are related to previous research work which represents that media have a significant positive role in corporate governance. The outcomes show that the relationship between corporate governance and media was enhanced through literacy. The results suggest that the top and middle-level managers should strongly consider the role of media as the main factor in shaping corporate governance. Also, as validated through the study findings, literacy also has a significant positive relationship between media and corporate governance. Thus, contriving strategies that help disseminate literacy and awareness on corporate governance through media will strengthen organizational management systems.
