MethodsParticipants first completed an online OBLS training module. Then, teams of 4 nursing staff, 1 obstetric resident, and 1 anesthesia resident participated in an interprofessional, in situ OBLS simulation and debriefing training. Teams were randomized to either a control or intervention group. Before the simulation, the intervention group received brief instructions about role assignment. A reviewer viewed the videotaped simulations to determine tasks completed and times to complete critical steps. A validated checklist was used for assessing outcomes. We report descriptive statistics as well as time to complete critical steps. A follow-up study will report the analysis of completion of OBLS tasks by study group.
