The success rate for information technology (IT) projects continues to be low. With an increasing number of IT projects in developing countries such as China, it is important to understand the risks they are experiencing on IT projects. To date, there has been little research documenting Asian perceptions of IT project risk. In this research, we examine the risks identified by Chinese senior executives (SEs) and project managers (PMs), and compare these two groups. The importance of top management support in IT projects is well documented. Prior research has shown that from the perspective of IT PMs, lack of support from SEs is the number one risk in IT projects. Surprisingly, senior executives' perceptions towards IT project risk have never been systematically examined. One reason why lack of support from senior executives continues to represent a major risk may be that senior executives themselves do not realize the critical role that they can play in helping to deliver successful projects. In this study, we use the Delphi method to compare the risk perceptions of senior executives and project managers. By comparing risk factors selected by each group, zones of concordance and discordance are identified. In terms of perceived importance ascribed to risk factors, PMs tend to focus on lower-level risks with particular emphasis on risks associated with requirements and user involvement, whereas SEs tend to focus on higherlevel risks such as those risks involving politics, organization structure, process, and culture. Finally, approaches for dealing with risk factors that are seen as important by both SEs and PMs are provided.

This correlation implies that close and frequent monitoring of such high-risk patients is necessary to facilitate timely diagnosis of gastric cancer.

Recently discovered intratumoral diffusion resistance, together with poor solubility and nontargeted distribution of chemotherapeutic drugs, has significantly impaired the performance of cancer treatments. By developing a well-designed droplet-confined/cryodesiccation-driven crystallization approach, we herein report the successful preparation of nanocrystallites of insoluble chemotherapeutic drug paclitaxel (PTX) in forms of nanodots (NDs, ≈10 nm) and nanoparticles (NPs, ≈70 nm) with considerably high drug loading capacity. Superficially coated Pluronic F127 is demonstrated to endow the both PTX nanocrystallites with excellent water solubility and prevent undesired phagocyte uptake. Further decoration with tumor-penetrating peptide iRGD, as expected, indiscriminatively facilitates tumor cell uptake in traditional monolayer cell culture model. On the contrary, distinctly enhanced performances in inward penetration and ensuing elimination of 3D multicellular tumor spheroids are achieved by iRGD-NDs rather than iRGD-NPs, revealing the significant influence of particle size variation in nanoscale. In vivo experiments verify that, although efficient tumor enrichment is achieved by all nanocrystallites, only the iRGD-grafted nanocrystallites of ultranano size realize thorough intratumoral delivery and reach cancer stem cells, which are concealed inside the tumor core. Consequently, much strengthened restriction on progress and metastasis of orthotopic 4T1 mammary adenocarcinoma is achieved in murine model, in sharp contrast to commercial PTX formulation Taxol.

The global use of smartphone has had tremendous social, environmental, and economic impacts in the last decade, and continues to grow impressively. In order to comprehend customers' purchase behavior, it is crucial to understand the driving force behind their choice of one specific brand among various competitors. A few prior researches have demonstrated that not only the optimal experience of flow, but also identity features (i.e., self-identity, social identity, brand identity) facilitate a customer's purchase intention. Previous studies also indicate that brand-related constructs (e.g., typically brand image but sometimes also brand personality and communication) predict purchase intention. As the first study combining flow, which focuses on investigating the consumer purchase behavior through identity and brand-related constructs, we propose a conceptual model that combines flow theory, brand image, brand communication, brand identity, and brand personality to investigate purchase intention. We have empirically tested the conceptual model based on the data collected from 1377 Chinese smartphone users. Results via the structural equation modeling with AMOS software indicated that flow experience, brand image, brand communication, brand personality, and brand identity all directly or indirectly explain purchase intention. Flow experience serves a critical role in mediating the path from brand communication, brand personality, and brand identity to purchase intention. Patients with microinvasive carcinoma often have favorable prognosis, but it remains unclear whether this special type of breast cancer represents a distinct morphological entity with its own biological features and clinical behavior distinct from those of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). The study is a retrospective analysis of a large patient cohort from a single institution. One hundred and thirty one microinvasive carcinoma and 451 DCIS cases were collected. ER, PR, HER2, and Ki67 were examined by immunohistochemistry in pathological sections. We assessed the clinicopathologic characteristics, molecular features, and survival status of microinvasive carcinoma and compared to those of DCIS. Microinvasive carcinoma differed from DCIS with respect to tumor size, lymph node status, and initial presentation (P < 0.05). There was a significant difference in nuclear grade among microinvasive carcinoma of different molecular subtype (P < 0.05). The clinicalpathologic features and outcomes of patients with microinvasive carcinoma were similar to those with DCIS. The 5-year OS rate for microinvasive carcinoma and DCIS patients was 99.0 and 99.2%, respectively. A combination of pathologic, clinical, and molecular factors may ultimately reveal more powerful and robust measures for disease classification than any one modality alone. Microinvasive carcinoma does not significantly predict for worse DFS or OS in comparison with patients with DCIS.
