Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh positif langsung spiritualitas kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 174 responden yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan: adanya pengaruh positif langsung spiritualitas kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja dosen. Sebagai implikasi dari temuan penelitian ini adalah bahwa meningkatkan kepuasan kerja dan spiritualitas kerja dosen harus dipertimbangkan.Kata kunci: spiritualitas kerja, kepuasan kerja THE EFFECT OF SPIRITUALITY OF WORK ON LECTURE’S JOB SATISFACTION OF THE MANADO STATE POLYTECHNICAbstractThe objective of this research is to study the direct effect of the spirituality of work on job satisfaction of the lecture’s the Manado State Polytechnic. The samples of this research were 174 lectures selected randomly. The result of the research concluded: there is a direct positive influence of the spirituality of work toward lecturer’s job satisfaction. This study aims to identify the potential of Pal Beach tourism attraction, identify individual infrastructure and attraction facilities of Pal Beach, and reviewing tourism development of Pal Beach. This research was conducted in the village of Marinsouw, North Minahasa Regency for six months from April to October 2016. This study used a qualitative description. The results on the development of Pal beach tourism object showed that 1). Accessibility (affordability); driveway access to the Pal coastal resorts is damaged and needs to be repaired by resurfacing and widening the road. 2). Attraction; in this case is the cultural attraction that is religious tourism such as Tulude culture which is a tradition of rural communities of Marinsouw on every January 31 st should be developed and packaged in a tour package to attract foreign or domestic tourists to more frequently come to the village of Marinsouw and the Pal beach. 3) Amenities (facilities/comfort); there is a needs to build an inn or a cottage accommodation in Pal coastal region, tourism information facilities are necessary to hold art and culture of Marinsouw rural communities, souvenir shops, restaurants, sanitation of toilet, and recreation attraction for entertainment. 4). Ancillary Services (institutional services and promotions); need to be made marketing and promotional information systems of Pal beach tourism with the full support of the Government in promoting Pal beach attraction. Recommendation of this study, the first for North Minahasa Regency Tourism Office is: a). North Minahasa Regency Government through the Department of Tourism and Cultural needs to make a MoU with the state-owned enterprises to build Pal beach attraction. It is a pity if the potential of Pal beach is not developed and promoted as a tourism destination area; b). Need to restructure and mapping the Pal coastal tourist area unit. c). Attract investors to build tourism supporting facilities such as accommodation, tourism information center, souvenir shops, special attraction; d). Prepare human resources in the field of hospitality and tourism attractions to manage Pal beach; e). Increase counseling and training in preparing resources for the development of Pal beach tourism object; and the second for Marinsouw Rural Community is: a). Preserving cultural customs Tulude as a tourist attraction to be promoted; b. Make Masamper dance attractions on certain days in Pal coastal resort; c). Manage local products such as Goroho banana chips, cassava chips, skills for making plastic flower stalks as typical souvenir from Marinsouw village to raise the family economy; d). Raise awareness in maintaining the security and cleanliness around Pal coastal resorts.
Abstrak Tujuan tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengembangan pariwisata kota Manado melalui slogan “Manado Kota Cerdas. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan deskritif. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis data (flow model). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan upaya pemerintah mewujudkan visi Manado Kota Cerdas pada tahun 2021, dengan menyelenggarakan berbagai program terkait untuk pengembangan dan pengelolaan kota termasuk di dalamnya pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Pengembangan pariwisata dalam bentuk program-program yang menarik dan inovatif tersebut yaitu membangun Manado sebagai kota “Cendekia” dengan sumber daya manusia yang cerdas dan tangguh melalui peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan membangun Manado sebagai destinasi “Ekowisata” berbasis konservasi lingkungan laut dan kepulauan. Luaran penelitian berupa publikasi ilmiah dalam jurnal Internasional, HKI. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Pariwisata, Manado Kota Cerdas.
The tourism industry has an important role to improve economic and community welfare. In several regions, the industry boosts the regional economy as the main income source. Realizing this, the government has been currently trying to develop tourism potentials in their respective areas. North Sulawesi is one of the priorities for developing tourist destinations by the central government, and one of the tourist objects is Likupang. By setting Likupang as one of the priorities for developing tourist destinations, it will afford opportunities for the City of Manado to increase revenue from the tourism sector. Thus, a tourism management policy is needed to harmonize environmental, socio-cultural, and economic aspects. Manado City tourism management policy is assessed with The Exponential Comparison Method (MPE) by looking at the degree of importance based on experts’ opinions. Overall policy assessment refers to four aspects, namely environmental, socio-cultural, economic, and political aspects. Based on the weighting results, the availability of employment has the highest value. Meanwhile, for the assessment of alternative policies, the first integrated management policy between the main tourist objects around has the highest value.
Abstrak: Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Pacesetting terhadap Motivasi Kerja Karyawan Food and Beverage Service Department pada Sintesa Peninsula Hotel Manado. Karyawan dengan motivasi kerja tinggi akan bekerja dengan penuh gairah, disiplin, inisiatif dan dengan kesadaran akan kewajibannya untuk bekerja lebih efektif dan efisien. Dengan adanya motivasi, maka perhatian, pemikiran, tenaga dan kegiatan karyawan dapat di arahkan untuk tujuan dan sasaran yang lebih bermanfaat serta menguntungkan bagi perusahaan maupun karyawan itu sendiri. Motivasi yang tinggi dalam bekerja dapat tercapai apabila di dukung oleh gaya kepemimpinan yang dimiliki dan diterapkan oleh pemimpin dalam suatu organisasi atau departemen. Gaya Kepemimpinan yang diterapkan oleh pemimpin Food and Beverage Service Department menuntut standar kerja dan keberhasilan yang tinggi serta berharap para karyawan dapat mengikuti standar kerja tersebut, namun kurangnya apresiasi yang diperoleh karyawan dalam pencapaian pekerjaannya, rendahnya kebebasan karyawan untuk berinisiatif yang terntunya akan mengurangi tantangan didalam pekerjaan tersebut, hal ini tentu berdampak pada perubahan motivasi kerja para karyawan. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut kemudian diadakan penelitian untuk mengetahui apakah gaya kepemimpinan pacesetting berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja para karyawan Food and Beverage Service Department. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan sampel sebanyak 30 responden. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang kuat dari variabel Gaya Kepemimpinan Pacesetting terhadap variabel Motivasi Kerja Karyawan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai t hitung 5,360 > t tabel 2,04841, diperoleh nilai korelasi sebesar r = 0,712 dan nilai koefisien determinasi 50,69%, selebihnya sebesar 49,31% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lainnya yang tidak diteliti. Sebagai implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa pemimpin perlu memberikan kesempatan bagi karyawan untuk berinisiatif dalam pekerjaan yang dilakukannya dan lebih fleksibel dalam setiap arahan yang diberikan sehingga karyawan mampu menyelesaikan pekerjaannya dengan baik. Untuk meningkatkan motivasi kerja karyawan maka pemimpin perlu untuk menginspirasi karyawan agar dapat bekerja dengan maksimal, memberikan tantangan dalam pekerjaan, dan sanggup mengapresiasi karyawan atas pekerjaan yang telah diselesaikan karyawan.
