The studies on the subjects related to gifted students in the thesis studies in our country started at the beginning of 1990s and the number of thesis studies in this field has increased recently. In this research, 128 doctoral dissertations and master's theses which are made in the field of gifted students and are registered in YÖK (National Thesis Center) database between 1990-2016 were investigated. This research aims to make a comparative analysis of these theses made in the field of gifted students. This research was designed as a qualitative study. Data were analyzed by content analysis technique. Research questions are about the thesis's publication university and department, publication year, its method and subject matter. According to the results of the research, Gazi, Hacettepe and Karadeniz Teknik Universities are the pioneers in publishing these theses. These theses are usually from the fields of education, psychology and special education. Quantitative research method is generally used in these theses. In the theses, BİLSEMs are used extensively, the studies mainly focus on the primary and secondary school education and they are usually conducted with students as sample. The dissemination of thesis studies on gifted students at education levels apart from elementary and secondary school, studying in disciplines other than education and psychology, and increasing the thesis studies for diagnosis and model development are among the suggestions.

This study aims to investigate preservice preschool teachers' views on gifted children. Mixed method was conducted in the study. "The Scale for Rating the Behavioral Characteristics of Gifted and Talented Students", developed by Şahin (2012), and semi-structured interview forms were used. The findings indicate that preservice preschool teachers associate giftedness with cognitive characteristics in general. Therefore, they usually focus on cognitive skills when the basic characteristics of gifted children are in question. Their responses to the scale show that they believe that these children are gifted in problem solving skills and general cognitive skills, but hesitant in communicative and social skills.
Digital literacy is one of the most important skills of the 21st century that is necessary for individuals to access the right information easily, quickly and effectively. The aim of this study is to reveal the views of preschool teachers about digital literacy to children. Case study design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. The research was carried out with the data collected through semi-structured interview form with 20 teachers who were reached by snowball sampling method in a province in eastern Anatolia. Content analysis method was used in data analysis. As a result, preschool teachers stated that digital literacy is beneficial, contributes to the development of the child, and digital literacy education should be given. There were also teachers who stated that digital materials should not be in preschool education. It was stated that social environment should be created for children to use safe digital devices, content control should be increased, children should play games and children should read books. As a suggestion, digital literacy education can be suggested to children, teachers and families in order to obtain information more reliably, easily and quickly in the digital age.
