Bu çalışmanın amacı, Erasmus+ öğrenci değişim programına katılan öğrencilerin deneyimleri ve bu hareketlilik kapsamında bilgelik karakteri kazanımları ile ilgili görüşlerini incelemektir. Araştırmada nitel yöntem çerçevesinde fenomenolojik desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya 2021-2022 öğretim yılı içerisinde bir devlet fen lisesinde öğrenim gören, Erasmus+ öğrenci değişim programı kapsamında Yunanistan’a giden ve amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnek yöntemi ile seçilen 10 öğrenci katılmıştır. Katılımcıların görüşleri yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları ile alınmıştır. Çalışma için gerekli izinler alındıktan sonra katılımcılara çalışma hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Görüşmeler öğrencilerin uygun oldukları zaman diliminde yapılmıştır. Daha sonra, veriler karşılaştırmalı analiz metodu ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda katılımcıların program kapsamında bilgelik karakteri ile ilgili kazanımlara ulaştıkları görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak, Erasmus+ öğrenci değişim programına katılan öğrencilerin; özgün düşünme, açık fikirli olma, merak etme, kendini ifade etme becerilerinin ve öğrenmeye karşı ilgilerinin gelişimi açısından önemli kazanımlar edindikleri görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak, hareketliliğe katılan öğrencilerin uluslararası bakış açısı, eleştirel düşünebilme becerisi, farklılıkları hoş görme ve farklılıklara uyum sağlama becerisi, proje tabanlı işbirlikçi öğrenme becerileri gibi birçok beceriyi kazandıklarını ifade ettikleri görülmektedir. Araştırma bulguları, alan çalışmalarına kaynaklık etmek açısından ve Erasmus+ öğrenci değişim programının daha nitelikli olabilmesi için önemli sonuçları ortaya koymaktadır. Araştırma bulguları alan yazındaki bulgular eşliğinde tartışılmış ve programın daha verimli olabilmesi için önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
