High requirements for professional training of Defence Specialists were and remain the main guarantee of successful functioning of any military structure. Continuous improvement of the educational process in higher military educational institutions is the basis for its transformation to the conditions of the current situation in the world. In the paper, the authors offer an option to determine the number of classroom hours. This project describes approaches to creating a new, modern system of classroom hours, which ensures the continuity of improving the level of professional competence of higher military educational institutions using the nonlinear mathematical model of Weibull-Gnedenko. Organisational and methodological problems were analysed. Because of the analysis of methodological literature, the points of view of teachers and methodologists are compared on the modern methodological work, and a mathematical model was used that established the relationship between the training level of students and the number of academic hours. The proposed model divides the educational process into initial and main periods. The learning process strengthens in the main period. There is a slowdown at the beginning and end.
The article is devoted to the development of a method for substantiating the requirements for the survivability of a promising automated command and control system. It is known that one of the priority tasks of the country's defense is the creation of an effective command and control system for the Armed Forces of Ukraine based on modern information technologies. But, despite this, its current state, for a number of reasons, does not fully meet the requirements for it. An important reason for this state of the command and control system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is the imperfection of the methodological apparatus that is used in the study of the command and control process and the justification of the requirements for a promising ACS. One of these important requirements is the requirement for its survivability. The currently existing methods for substantiating the requirements for the survivability of a promising ACCS do not have a single ideology of construction and do not allow studying the functioning of the ACCS in time under the conditions of the complex active influence of the enemy. To achieve the goal of the article, its author has developed a new method, the feature of which, which determines its novelty, is that it provides a comprehensive account of the enemy’s influence on the survivability of control points of a promising automated control system in two main areas: fire damage to control points and radio suppression of ultrashort-wave, short-wave radio communication channels with control points. The method is based on a mathematical model of failure of the control points of a promising automatic control system due to fire damage by the enemy and its restoration. This model, unlike the existing ones, allows you to determine the change in the state of the control system over time. Also substantiated is the relationship between the number of required ultra-shortwave, short-wave radio communication channels with the launcher of a promising automated control system and their reliability.
The combat capabilities of modern means of warfare in the air largely depend on the reliable operation of on-board electronic means (OEM) and weapon control systems of fighter aircraft. Therefore, in the course of military operations, each of the warring parties seeks to disorganise the operation of the enemy's radio-electronic systems and weapon controls as much as possible and ensure the stable operation of their own OEM by all means. This task is assigned to the means of electronic warfare (EW). During air combat, this task is assigned to the aircraft jamming station, whose place and role in modern air combat is constantly growing. The efficiency of the operation of this system is directly related to the aircraft survivability during a combat mission. This study considers the developed approach to the output of initial data on modelling the operation of airborne radars in conditions of interference and simultaneous active counteraction to enemy interference stations. The authors in this study have suggested a mathematical description of the air combat situation, which occurs when using methods of active countermeasures to enemy airborne interference systems by changing the parameters of the operation of the airborne gun-laying radar (AGLR). Indicators and criteria that characterise the effectiveness of the operation of airborne radars, depending on the method of counteraction used, were proposed, including a sequence of possible applications of the known four methods of counteraction, taking into account the features of their application.
