Scientific research of modern economic processes uses various tools for processing input information and interpretation of the results. One of the scientific methods that has received a wide range of practical applications is the method of economic objects research by cluster analysis. This method makes it possible through the transformation of the matrix of input indicators into a matrix of normalized values to have at the input of the study both quantitative and, if necessary, qualitative indicators, in index or percentage form of representation. The research result will be a matrix of distances, on the basis of which the final dendrogram, which visualizes the calculations carried out, is constructed. It is proven that the study of the national economy’s banking sector development dynamics through the formation of clusters is an important method of improving the forms of state, commercial and other forms of financial structures ownership by the main regulator National Bank of Ukraine and other governing bodies. Also, the study of the banking sector by external and domestic investors through the already formed clusters is appropriate and promisin as through the weights it is possible to focus on those financial and economic indicators that are currently of interest to investors. European experience in creating clusters and state support in these areas makes it possible to conclude how relevant from a scientific point of view and practical implementation the study of modern scientists in this field is. It is stated that within the national economy, there is already experience in creating clusters in various sectors of the economy, such as the creation of agricultural clusters, IT clusters in Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk regions. The creation and implementation of cluster structures in the banking sector has not been fully studied and practically used, but there are many state and commercial companies and banks, which in our opinion should be combined into special clusters. This would also allow state institutions to monitor, share technologies and recent developments with companies that are united in cluster structures.
The financial and economic activity of the leading insurance companies of Ukraine is analyzed, as the global pandemic COVID-19 has made significant adjustments in the activities without exaggeration of all companies, both nationally and globally. Therefore, the analysis of the insurance companies of the national economy is very important issue, because the accumulation of financial resources of insurance companies can be used as domestic investment in the national economy. The surveyed insurance companies: Alliance, Asuka, Arsenal Insurance, Alpha Insurance, Uniqa during the crisis period of 2019–2021, managed to maintain their position in the market of insurance services, and even improved their financial results, because insurance services are now more relevant than ever. The development of financial resources of insurance companies can be one of the levers of financing and investing in strategically important aspects of consumer life, such as health insurance, both locally (communities, regions) and more globally nationally, such as life insurance in general and insurance for example risky professions such as medics, including primary care, rescuers, military. In our opinion, more in-depth research of the insurance market of the national economy will make it possible to prepare the change in legislation and structure the economic activities and cooperation of national insurers, in order to improve the activities and monitoring of state regulatory institutions. In order to do this, in this paper we propose to use the tools of cluster analysis, using modern software with elements of artificial intelligence. The financial results of the main national insurance companies are studied, and due to modern tools of cluster analysis, we have clustered the studied insurance companies, using modern information programs Matlab, have made calculations in user-friendly interface. and have constructed the dendrogram that clearly represents the clusters formed. Modeling based on cluster analysis makes it possible to combine leading insurance companies into clusters of financial performance, which will allow and strengthen synergies between national insurers, which in turn will strengthen the exchange of experience, and possibly customer bases between existing insurance companies, and it is convenient for investors to consider companies united in insurance groups in order to invest investment resources.
It is stated in the article that in the modern realities of the national economy functioning and social aspects of people's lives, the research of the public organizations activities in Ukraine is an urgent issue in the scientific, socio-economic and political spheres. It is established that a surge in the creation of such organizations was observed after 2014, when a military confrontation with the russian aggressor began in the East of our state, and it was public organizations and volunteer groups that managed to effectively and quickly provide the military and territorial defense groups of our state with the most necessary items required. The important and invaluable activity of such organizations is aimed at preserving the life and health of the human potential of our country. It is stated that the decisive factor in the victory of Ukraine and the restoration and dynamic development of the national economy is the human resource, because it is the factor of “people’s orientation” that must be taken into account when planning the macroeconomic, production and social aspects of the national economy and the political system of our state. The activities of public organizations through the lens of financial flows that these institutions operate are studied in the article. When making calculations, modern economic and mathematical modeling tools based on cluster analysis are used. The main clusters of public organizations are determined based on the analysis of their financial flows. The relevance of the study of the activities of public organizations of Ukraine and the use of modern modeling tools based on cluster analysis is proven. It is substantiated that the implementation of calculations in the Matlab software makes it possible to expand scientific research on topics that are relevant in today’s conditions.
