In this study, the impacts of educational judo practices on motor abilities of judo performing 7–12 years aged children have been studied. Experimental and control groups have been started with n=40 judoka number for the study. and the study has been completed with n=38 judoka number for the experimental gruop and n=31 judoka (Note 1) number for the control groups. This study was run during the twelve months. At the begining and end of this work, anthropometric measures of the experimental group and control group and application of static and dinamic balances, coordinations, celerities, long jumping, ball launching, claw-back forces, speed tests have been applied and pre-test and re-test results have been taken. After the reorder and grouping of mesaurement parameters and introduction forms, all the data has been scoped out on SPSS for Windows (ver. 14). Arithmetic average and standard deviation of parameters have been analyzed. According to the data acquired from the research comparison between pre-test and re-test of the experimental gruop, comparison between pre-test and re-test of the control group, comparison between the pre-tests of the experimental and control groups, comparison between the re-tests of the experimental and control groups, comparison between the pre-tests of the experimental and control groups and one-sided variant analysis of re-tests of the experimental and control groups have been realized. Between the parameters of Test and Control groups, p<0.05 and p<0.01 level differences are tried to be detected. Finally, male judokas of the experimental group’s static balance, celerity, claw force and back power parameters has been found different at p<0.05 level and quite at p<0.01 quite different when compared to control group and these educational Judo games are highly contributive to the development motor skills. Female judokas of the experimental group’s static balance, celerity, claw force and back power parameters has been found different at p<0.05 level and quite at p<0.01 quite different when compared to control group and these educational Judo games are highly contributive to the development motor skills. As a result of this study we can say that static and dynamic balance, quickness, hand grip and back strength, coordination, speed parameters of the male and female judokas’ have developed. Considering these parameters usage of Judo educational games, which are accelerating the development of basic motor skills of 7-12 years aged children,in courses by arrangement can be suggested
Early childhood is known as a critical period in acquisition of development and basic mobility skills. In this period, physical education and judo education contribute to development of general body, hand-eye and foot-eye coordination, 5 motor skills, static and dynamic balance. Moreover, the sub-structure of lifelong sport habits is being prepared by teaching values with respect to judo, kindness, self-determination, solidarity, honesty, friendship, patience, courage and modesty. As a result, due to basic education of judo such as 'Ukemi, Tachi Waza and Newaza Basic Drills', children learn much more than movement skills. In this study, importance of physical education and judo activities in pre-school period has been considered in practice. The results showed Judo has an impact on pre-service and in-service training in practice of pre-school physical education and judo activities. It is inevitable that these activities contribute to almost all targeted development areas of a child, in addition to contributing to training of large group of children in first phase of long-term athlete development model in our country.
The fact that children have been acquainted with sports from their early years is an important determinant of their attitudes and behaviors in their future lives and constitutes the most basic part of a country's athletic resource in broadcast sports policies. Early childhood is important in supporting the development of children as well as in acquiring certain habits. Quality management of this time zone is also important. For this reason, in this research, it was aimed to examine the opinions and expectations of the parents of preschool children who are in pre-school education to direct their children to judo sports. The data are arranged in categories, interpreted as descriptive and frequency. As a result, according to priority order; it is important for the female parents that their children are healthy, develop their own discipline, learn sports culture and morality. Moreover, they want them to be psychologically good and healthy as well as expecting them to socialize, learn sports culture and morality, develop their self-discipline. Also, they are guiding their children to judo sports because they want to improve morality, social cohesion and self-discipline. The results obtained in Turkey Judo Federation and judo policies will be developed in preschool education for coaches, and will create significant resources and proposals for the strategy which has been developed for data.
A high level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills in visually impaired female national judo team athletes is an important factor in increasing their performance and for their high performance. The aim of this study was to examine critical thinking and problem-solving skills of visually impaired female national judo team athletes. The sample of the study was composed of visually impaired female athletes (n=15) in 2015 national team. A Personal Information Form, the California Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory and the Problem Solving Inventory were used as data collection tools. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using SPSS 17 software. Evaluation of the data analysis revealed that there was no statistically significant difference among groups in total Problem Solving Inventory and Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory scores in terms of age group or age of starting judo (p>0.05). There was no statistically significant relationship between total problem-solving and total critical thinking disposition scores of athletes (p>0.05). As a result, judo coaches are thought to play an important role in the development of strategies for increasing athletes’ problem-solving and critical thinking skills and in the development of their sporting performance, particularly in the development of high performance.
