SYNOPSISA friction measurement system was designed that made possible the measurement of the friction coefficient between a polymer melt and a metal die wall. The shear stresses developed in the capillary rheometer and the friction coefficient measured in the friction measurement system were compared in a n attempt to understand the mechanism of fluoroelastomer processing aids (FPA) in the extrusions of polypropylene (PP) and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE). The apparent viscosity drops of LLDPE treated with FPA were larger than those of PP treated with FPA. The friction coefficient drops of LLDPE treated with FPA were also larger than those of PP treated with FPA. High viscosity FPA showed a moderate friction coefficient drop in the actual extrusion of PP even though it showed only a poor effect in the capillary rheometer. The frictional forces were calculated from the friction coefficient measurement made during extrusions of FPA-treated and untreated samples.
SYNOPSISA basic study of orientation development in retensilized, biaxially oriented polypropylene films was performed. Wide-angle X-ray scattering ( WAXS) and birefringence measurement techniques were used to examine films prepared under specific processing conditions. Biaxial orientation factors were determined for these films and were correlated with end-use properties of the materials. In particular, the dispensability of oriented polypropylene films was found to correlate with crystalline-phase and amorphous-phase orientation factors. Dispensability is a relatively important property of pressure-sensitive tapes; it is defined as the force necessary to cut a film backing over a serrated blade of the type used in commercially available adhesive-tape dispensers.
The purpose of this paper is to critically examine the representation of people with autistic spectrum disability in video media from the perspective of cultural studies, and to present the desirable tasks of disability and inclusion in disability studies through a comparative study on the representation of people with autistic spectrum disability in the Korean movie Marathon and the Japanese drama Marathon based on the same original work. Therefore, the narrative of growth through communication and perception of disability and inclusion were compared between them. The one is progressive in that it emphasizes self-reliance and nothing about us without us, seeks communication and change in society, and highlights an active female image. But It shows the task of inclusion through the reality of the prejudice and conflicts of society towards people with the autistic disabled and education or vocational training that is separated from people without disabilities. The other reproduces a social foundation that is more advanced than Korea in terms of harmony with people with autistic spectrum disability and integrated workplaces, but emphasizes family love and self-denial, revealing the limitations of the individual model that disabilities must be overcome through individual efforts.
The purpose of this paper is to examine the developmental tasks and problems of inclusion of young adults with autism, which are reproduced in the drama Extraordinary attorney Woo. And to clarify their significance and limitations, and to meet the life cycle of young adults with autistic spectrum disability, through comparison with reality. It is to seek disability policies and support measures that can aim for inclusion. In order to view the lives of young adults with autistic spectrum disability in the drama Youngwoo Woo, this study approached from a convergent perspective of cultural studies and disability studies, and after analyzing the contents of the drama, the analysis results were critically evaluated. The main character of the drama Youngwoo Woo is a person with autistic spectrum disability who successfully completes the young adults development tasks of work, love, and independent living through meaningful communication with the people around her during her young adults, which can be an important starting point for inclusion into society. In addition, the drama Youngwoo Woo draws attention in that it raises the need for inclusion, emphasizing that Korean society is a space where not only people with autistic spectrum disability, but also people with diversity who are discriminated against by another form of prejudice live together. However, the fantasy of these dramas is far from reality. In reality, the problems of achievement of development tasks and inclusion of people with autistic spectrum disability should be recognized as important, and support for appropriate social systems and programs considering diversity and difference should be sought.
