La presente investigación se focalizó en el efecto de la aplicación de un programa de intervención para analizar el consumo de oxígeno máximo en una muestra de adolescentes de 17 a 19 años, con la finalidad de observar la condición física. La metodología responde a un diseño cuasi experimental, es decir, la aplicación de una intervención basada en un programa de juegos pre-deportivos establecida mediante la toma de datos antes y después de la aplicación del programa, con la utilización de test de Course Navette, el cual mide el consumo de oxígeno máximo en cada uno de los participantes; el programa de juegos pre-deportivos se aplicó durante las clases de Educación Física, cuya duración fue de seis meses. Los resultados muestran avances significativos luego de la aplicación del programa, lo que lleva a concluir que, nuestro experimento obtuvo mejores puntuaciones sobre el VO2max tras la aplicación del programa de intervención, lo cual mejoró la condición física en los sujetos de estudio.
Existen varios aspectos que implican la formación de los deportistas, dentro de los cuales la nutrición es vital, sin embargo, en la actualidad se ha identificado que la anorexia y la bulimia nerviosa son los trastornos alimentarios que tienen mayor efecto en las personas que practican deporte. El objetivo del presente estudio es identificar los principales trastornos alimenticios que afectan el rendimiento en los deportes individuales y colectivos, por tanto, se desarrolló una metodología cuali–cuantitativa que permita comprender como afectan los trastornos alimentarios en los deportes individuales y colectivos; en el estudio participaron 52 adolescentes deportistas cuyas edades oscilan entre 14 a 18 años, se establecieron dos grupos en función del tipo de práctica deportiva: deporte individual (n:26) y deportes colectivamente (n:26), el instrumento de recolección de la información fue un cuestionario estructurado. Los datos numéricos de los actores directos a través del análisis e interpretación de los datos han permitido llegar a obtener conclusiones y plantear alternativas de solución para los deportistas que atraviesan problemas de trastornos alimenticios, a su vez prevenir futuros problemas a quienes se encuentren vulnerables con dichas afectaciones alimentarias.
Introducción. Por efectos de la nueva realidad, producto de la pandemia que vive la humanidad, se han dado transformaciones en todo ámbito, uno de ellos es el del proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje. Objetivo. La presente investigación se focaliza en determinar el cumplimiento de los componentes de la clase de Educación Física y la aplicación de instrumentos didácticos en el proceso de evaluación a través de la modalidad virtual. Metodología. Estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo no experimental, descriptivo, transversal; con 68 docentes, como muestra de estudio, pertenecientes al Colegio de Profesionales de Cultura Física de Tungurahua. Se empleó la técnica de la encuesta y como instrumento, un cuestionario estructurado, el cual se diseñó y valido por métodos estadísticos y por criterio de expertos en el área de la Educación Física, estructurado para obtener información en base a 5 dimensiones relacionadas al cumplimiento y a la aplicación de componentes de la clase de Educación Física, a través de la modalidad virtual. Resultados. El análisis de las respuestas por dimensión permitió evidenciar que el 51.1% de los docentes se encontraba en un nivel alto de cumplimiento de los componentes de la clase y el 54.4% se encontraba en un nivel medio de los procesos dentro de la clase. Conclusiones. Se concluye que, en base a los resultados estadísticos, los docentes poseen un nivel alto de cumplimiento y un nivel medio de aplicación de los componentes de la clase de educación física en la modalidad virtual. Estos resultados permiten plantear alternativas válidas de solución, sobre la base de la realidad analizada.
