The rapid development in international trade has directly affected the air transport industry. Therefore, the number of passengers and the amount of cargo carried are increasing every year. Especially for long distance travels, passengers tend to prefer air transport. So, effective security applications at airports such as security processes, the competence of the technology used and security staff are extremely important. At the same time, having good performance of security systems may also affect the passengers' satisfaction. In this study, the effect of security practices at airports on passengers' satisfaction was investigated.Within the scope of the study, 536 questionnaires were applied both face to face and online to the passengers using Turkish airports. The data were tested using T-Test, ANOVA and Regression analysis. According to the analysis results, it has been found out that there is a meaningful relationship between the evaluations of the passengers towards security services at the airports and their satisfaction level. Also, evaluations of the passengers towards security services at the airports and their satisfaction level differ according to the flight frequency. Finally, some suggestions have been made to the sector administrators related to the security practices at airports in order to increase the passengers' satisfaction level.
Özet: Araştırmanın amacı, okulların eğitim teknolojileri açısından yenilenmesinin ve öğretmen ve öğrenciler için içerik desteği sağlanmasının, teknoloji entegrasyonuna etkisini incelemektir. Ayrıca teknoloji entegrasyonuna engel olarak görülen yeni faktörlerin oluşup oluşmadığının ortaya çıkarılması çalışmanın amaçları arasındadır. Nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılan çalışmada donanım ve alt yapı bakımından yeterli okullarda çalışmakta olan 25 öğretmen katılımcı olarak yer almıştır. Katılımcılar ile yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiş ve sonuçlar içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Çalışmanın sonunda geçmiş çalışmalarda belirtilen teknoloji entegrasyonuna etki eden teknik sıkıntıların büyük oranda aşıldığı; yenilenen teknolojilerle yeni ihtiyaçların ve entegrasyon sürecine etki eden yeni faktörlerin ortaya çıktığı görülmüştür. Öğretmenlerin hazır içerik beklentisi, yazılım eksikleri, öğretmenlerin yaşadığı teknoloji-yöntem karmaşası, değişen şartlar ve mesleki zorunluluk faktörleri çalışmada elde edilen bulgulardır. Aynı zamanda öğretmenin teknolojiye bakış açısı, algı ve tutumu derste teknoloji kullanımına etki eden en önemli faktör olarak çalışmanın sonuçlarında yer almaktadır. AnahtarKelimeler: Teknoloji Entegrasyonu, teknoloji-yöntem karmaşası Abstract: The purpose of the study is to investigate the effects of the educational technology renovations made in school as well as provided content supports for both teachers and students on technology integration. Moreover, it is aimed to describe whether there are new factors that are seen as barriers in terms of technology integration. 25 inservice teachers working in schools, which have enough technological infrastructures, participated in this study. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with the participants. The collected data were analyzed with content analysis technique. The results of the study indicated that considerable amount of problems preventing technology integration were solved and either the new factors or requirements affecting technology integration process have emerged. Teachers' expectations of ready-to-use contents, lack of necessary software, and teachers' misconceptions between technology and teaching methods, changing environment, and occupational obligations were found as important factors. Meanwhile, teachers' perceptions and attitudes towards technology use in courses constitute important factors in technology integration.
This research primarily aimed to illustrate the national differences of passengers regarding their perceptions of Turkish airport safety. Secondly, airport safety perceptions by some other consumer characteristics such as demographics, flight characteristics, fairness perception and satisfaction from airport services were tried to be revealed.The research had a between-groups comparison design of data obtained in a one time measurement of the field. The predictions were tested in a sample of 911 Turkish and, 595 European passengers in Turkish airports. Data collecting method used in the study was 7-point Likert type self-report questionnaire filled by the respondents on voluntary basis in a categorical and random sampling. Meaningful differences were found by flight frequency, fairness perception and satisfaction degree from the services at airport. Study gains importance as being of the first time investigation of the differences between European and Turkish passengers about Turkish airports regarding safety perception.
With the start of the use of internet technologies in all areas of human life, customers have gravitated to perform many processes associated with customer products or services on companies' websites and this led to a change in the customer profile. Today's customers are not willing to just get the cheapest products or services through the website, but also demand the quality of service standard which can respond to different expectations. From this point forth, in order to respond to customers' requests and needs and to keep up with the competition, companies, started to use the internet technologies intensely. This situation is also true for the airline companies, providing services to these companies in the international airline industry; the existence of a quality website is of the utmost importance. So, an airline companies being able to understand the relationships among e-service quality, satisfaction and loyalty have become compulsory in order to maintain profitability. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the interrelationships among e-service quality, passenger satisfaction and passenger loyalty in the airline industry. Within the scope of the research, a survey prepared by using 5 point Likert scale has been conducted. Surveys have been applied to 421 domestic and 400 international passengers in various airports in Turkey. For data analysis; Regression analysis was used. According to the survey results; it has been concluded that both the e-service quality affects the passenger satisfaction and the passenger satisfaction affects the loyalty of the passenger positively. In addition, the findings demonstrated that significant differences exist between the passenger satisfaction regarding their flight type. What is more, according to the findings; the airline managers have been made a number of suggestions.

Bu çalışma kentin anlatısının mekânsal imgelemlerle (yeniden) anlamlandırılması üstüne deneysel bir araştırmadır. Bu kapsamda; yer isimlendirme örnekleri anma/hatırlatma nitelikli kullanılan ön isimlerin (belirten) çağrışımları ve mekân türünü/tipolojisini tanımlayan terimlerin anlam yükleri üzerinden iki durum ile ele alınmış ve Türkiye’de siyasi bir pratik olarak yer isimlendirmelerinin güncel örnekleri incelenmiştir.
