In this paper, we describe an computationally efficicnt method of generating more accurate sinusoidal parameters { untplirude, frequency, phase} from a wideband polyphonic audio sourcc in a multiresolution, non-ailiased fashion. This significantly improves upon previous work of sinusoidal modeling that assumes a singlcpitched monophonic source, such as speech or an individual musical instrument, while using approximately the same number of sinusoids. In addition to a more general analysis, we can now pcrform high-quality modifications such as time-stretching and pitchshifting on polyphonic audio with ease.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
