Zusammenfassung: Eine Voraussetzung für die hygienisch‐toxikologische Bewertung organischer Mikroverunreinigungen des Wassers und die Abschätzung der durch sie drohenden Gefahren für den Menschen ist die Erarbeitung geeigneter analytischer Nachweismethoden. Gegenwärtig stehen unter anderem die flüchtigen organischen Verbindungen, hauptsächlich Halogenkohlenwasserstoffe, im Mittelpunkt des Interesses. Nach einem tabellarischen Überblick über die gebräuchlichsten Isolierungs‐und Anreicherungsmethoden zur Spurenbestimmung organischer Wasserverunreinigungen werden die Isolierung flüchtiger Organica aus dem Wasser und ihre Anreicherung im Hinblick auf die nachfolgende gaschromatographische Bestimmung ausführlich behandelt. Die zur Anwendung kommenden Methoden der headspace‐und Ausgastechnik (gas phase stripping) werden beschrieben und diskutiert.
