Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) has been widely reported to have different clinical characteristics and prognosis. 1 Hence, a retrospective analysis of the patients with TNBC (stage I-III), presenting to the Department of Surgery, PGIMER, Chandigarh, between 2010 and 2014, was performed. Disease-free survival and factors affecting DFS were analyzed (using log-rank test and Cox proportional hazard regression model). A total of 220 patients were included. The average age of the patients was 48 ± 11.7 years (range 21-69 years). The study included 12/220(5.4%) stage I, 127/220(57.7%) stage II, and 65/220(29.5%)stage III patients.
