CFCL has developed both electrolyte-supported cells for allceramic stacks and anode-supported cells for ceramic-metal stacks. The support structure in the anode-supported cell is critical to the functionality of the ceramic-metal stack. The support structure has been optimized to achieve continuous operation at high efficiency using internal steam reforming of methane at high fuel utilizations. Optimization of the Ni-cermet (Ni-YSZ) support is described in this paper with results of testing related to CFCL's anode supported cells.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
