Abstract. The aim of the study was to formulate a theory about Javanese adolescent selfconcept in relation with friends. The subjects of this research were three Javanese adolescents, two girls and one boy. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observation and were analyzed with the so-called grounded theory approach. The results of this study indicated that Javanese adolescents interprets himself as plural selves, hierarchical interdependent and altered. Individuals have a lot of selves that represent their relationships with others. The selves are composed with each other in a hierarchical relationship. In a particular time, an individual activates one only of their selves. The self-activation process goes with the principle of "if ..., then ...". After recognizing their friends and situations, individuals will compare and evaluate themselves then choosing and activating one particular self to adjust with a particular friend and situation. When Javanese adolescents are with their friends, they do not think much about physical aspect, they become themselves and feel equal, accepted, understood and trusted as a good person. Such self-viewing makes an individual tend to go through positive feelings and comfort being around friends.
The purpose of this study to determine the incidence and impact of cyberbullying in early adolescence. The participants were 157 male and 196 female that range 12-15 year. The results of this study indicated that 78 percent of participants saw cyberbullying, 21 percent of them were cyberbullyer, and 49 percent of them were the victim. Cyberbullying was done through written, sound, or image. The mostly media they used were Facebook, SMS, and Instagram. The kind of cyberbullying experienced by victims were mockery, slander, threats, and make them as a talking object. The puspose of cyber-bullyers were as a joking, revenge, and because they can hide their identity anonymous. Cyber-Bullying make the victims felt angry, embarrassed, unable to concentration to learn, and fear. The cyberbullying victims confessed that they felt more serious psychological impact than traditional bullying.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kejadian dan dampak perundungan maya pada remaja awal. Partisipan penelitian adalah 157 remaja laki-laki dan 196 remaja perempuan, dengan rentang usia 12-15 tahun. Hasil deskriptif penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 78% responden pernah melihat perundungan maya, 21% responden pernah menjadi pelaku, dan 49 % responden pernah menjadi korban. Perundungan banyak dilakukan melalui media tulisan, suara, atau gambar. Adapun media online yang paling banyak digunakan adalah Facebook, SMS, dan Instagram. Bentuk perundungan maya yang dialami korban adalah ejekan, fitnah, ancaman, dan menjadi objek gosip. Pelaku melakaukan perundungan bertujuan untuk bercanda, balas dendam, dan karena dapat menyembunyikan identitas. Perundungan maya menyebabkan korban merasa marah, malu, tidak bisa konsentrasi belajar, dan takut. Korban perundungan maya mengaku bahwa dampak mental yang dialami lebih serius dibanding dengan perundungan di dunia nyata.
Media pembelajaran yang berkualitas akan menghasilkan minat belajar yang tinggi dan daya fikir yang kreatif, terutama pada anak usia dini. Pada dasarnya usia anak prasekolah atau yang disebut “golden age”, sangat peka dan sensitif terhadap terhadap keinginan mengenal benda dan objek-objek baru yang ada disekitarnya baik melalui penglihatan maupun pendengaran. Pada usia ini anak sangat membutuhkan pendidikan dan pembelajaran yang mudah, menarik dan mengandung unsure game (permainan) sehingga akan menumbuhkan minat belajar bagi anak usia pra sekolah terutama dalam pengenalan huruf dan angka. Selama ini sistem pembelajaran di taman kanak-kanak secara umum masih menggunakan sistem konvensional yang masih menggunakan media peraga kertas gambar dan papan tulis yang mengakibatkan siswa sering merasa bosan dan motivasi belajarnya berkurang. Untuk mengatasi hal ini maka perlu dilakukan sosialisasi pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis mobile learning kepada guru-guru yang mengajar di Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) maupun Taman Kanak-kanak (TK). Sehinga metode belajar yang diterapkan untuk murid lebih kreatif, inovatif dan inteaktif. Dengan adanya sosialisasi ini, diharapkan minat belajar siswa PAUD dan TK akan semakin meningkat dan mutu pembelajaran akan semakin tinggi.
